Story
SOS!! Cinnamon Sugar SOS - - she was only given 1 month of foster. Meet Cinnamon Sugar, a 2–3-year-old, 50-lb sweetheart who has spent far too long simply trying to survive after someone seemingly left her behind. Everything about Cinnamon tells us she was once someone’s dog. She is incredibly well-behaved, potty trained in the yard, wonderful on a leash, perfect in the car, and knows exactly how to live alongside people. At some point, the family she trusted disappeared, leaving this incredibly sweet girl to fend for herself. Cinnamon stayed around the same neighborhood, seemingly believing it was still her home. But life there became increasingly dangerous. Feral street pack dogs bullied and chased her, neighbors no longer wanted her around, and recently a loose dog even attacked her. Somehow, through all of it, Cinnamon remained gentle, trusting, and desperate for affection. Thankfully, one kind neighbor has offered Cinnamon a safe foster home — but only for one month. We now have a small window to find this deserving girl the forever family she has been waiting for. Cinnamon is spayed, vaccinated, 4DX negative, fully vetted, and up to date on preventatives. She loves other dogs, has lived peacefully around cats, and is truly the kind of easy, loving companion who just wants to belong. Cinnamon is currently in Puerto Rico, but she can be adopted anywhere in the U.S. Like all of our Puerto Rico rescues, we will arrange her flight off the island to her adoptive family, and her transport is included in her adoption fee. Someone may have abandoned Cinnamon once, but she never stopped believing in people. Now she has one month of safety while we find the person who will finally show her that this time, she is home forever.

Whether they're perked up with curiosity or flopping as he relaxes, they perfectly match his charming personality. This lovable pup enjoys all the best things in life: squeaky toys, cozy naps, and snuggling up in a comfy bed (or on the couch... he's definitely earned those privileges!). With a medium energy level, Mitch strikes the perfect balance between playful and laid-back. He's just as happy romping around with his dog friends as he is spending quality time with his favorite people.Mitch is a social guy who does wonderfully when meeting other dogs and enjoys playtime with his canine companions. He also adores children ages 4 and up. As for cats, he's met one and wasn't particularly impressed, so he'd likely be happiest in a feline-free home. He's house-trained and eager to learn, already working on commands like "sit." During the day, Mitch is comfortable spending a few hours in his crate, and at night he sleeps peacefully in his crate in his own space. He may voice a brief opinion about bedtime with a few minutes of whining, but he settles in nicely and sleeps through the night. If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered companion who’s equal parts playful and cuddly, Mitch might just be your perfect match!*Mitch is part of our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program.*Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
Meet Vinaigrette Vinaigrette has a soft and truly gentle soul. She’s taking everything in at her own thoughtful pace and learning that she’s now safe and loved. Fostered with other dogs, Vinaigrette is dog friendly, polite and has nice house manners. She’s crate trained while her foster is at work and does great! She’s a quiet, calm girl who can be shy at first, but once she feels safe, her sweetness really shines. Vinaigrette would do best in a more quiet low-key home, ideally with another friendly dog.  She’s the kind of dog who takes her time, but forms a deep, special bond with you—and she’s so VERY worth it. Not only was she the best momma — but she also was a surrogate momma to 2 other puppies! She’s a really special GAL and she’s been waiting patiently for her turn.  3 -4 yo/40 + lbs mixed breed shyquiet girlbest with another friendly dog in the home crate trained completed Heartworm treatment altered, utd on vaccines + microchipped  fostered locally  in Massachusetts!!  Can’t adopt?
