ROGER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED!   Are you looking for a big, cuddly couch potato? You have found your pup! Roger is a 75-pound, 1-year old Carolina/Shepherd mix whose love of naps and cuddle sessions are matched only by his love of booty skritches. He has an EAR-resistible face with his light eyes and single ear always at attention. He is the happiest, snuggliest boy! He even greets his grown ups with a “smile” when they walk through the door. Please don’t try to tell him he’s not a lap dog; he’d never believe you.    Despite being a long, lanky boy, he’s a bit of a scaredy cat. He’s timid of strangers at first and prefers a home without children. Roger was previously adopted by a family with young kids. Despite months of coaching and training, it has become clear he will not get over his fear of children and so he is now looking for a kid-free forever home. Roger loves other dogs and has not been cat-tested. He is house trained, crate trained, and great on a leash.    Roger is truly the cuddliest, most loving lazy bones — an old soul, no doubt! Let’s find him a home where he will get the big love he deserves! He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Roger up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at:  newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Roger here:  www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
CALEB IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED!   Caleb is sweet and very smart. He is a 10 month old mixed breed pup that weighs about 40lbs. He is also quick to learn new commands. He already walks well on lead, knows ‘no’, is learning leave it and sit. He is crate trained and will bark to be let out. Caleb plays very well with all other dogs in the foster home of every size. He would enjoy the company of another well temperamented canine friend or be happy focusing all of his attention on his person. Keep in mind, Caleb’s favorite thing is playing chase with his foster siblings. He prefers to play with dogs slightly larger than he is. He can be rough (puppy energy) with toy sized dogs. Caleb loves kids. He loves sticks, balls, and Benebones! Once you see this precious pup with the Heart on his head, your heart will melt. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA. He thrives on love and attention from his humans. He likes balls of all sizes, fuzzy toys and friends to play with. This boy will make a wonderful addition to a loving, fun family! Dozer is an active boy, that will do best in a home with another dog for him to play with. He does like to chase cats if they run, but also plays gently if they give him a chance. LIAM IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED!   Meet Liam – Our Little Scooby-Doo! Liam, 1 year old, is a handsome Carolina Mix Dog with the cutest Scooby-Doo vibes—playful, expressive, and always ready for an adventure. In our home, he’s affectionately known as “Little Scooby-Doo”, and when he starts wiggling his whole butt and tail to show love, we call him our “Disco Dancer.” Liam is house-trained and kennel-trained and sleeps through the night in his kennel without a peep. He’s great on a leash, enjoys walks, and loves being part of the action. He lives in a multi-dog household and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s also friendly with kids and enjoys being social, silly, and sweet. He is quick learner and know basic commands and also very food motivated like any other puppy. Liam has a gentle personality, loves running with dogs, giving licks, and has a warm, affectionate nature that makes him easy to love. If you’re looking for a loving, happy, wiggly companion with a big heart and even bigger charm, Liam is your guy! He is fully vetted. Story
Colt-Carolina/Black Mouth Curr male, ~ 2 yr. (Dec. 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Colt came to Rescue when saved from a high kill rural shelter. The lead Trainer with a Prison Program heard of his need to be saved and saw the talent and great disposition in Colt. He was taken from the Shelter, to be in the Prison Progam. This cross, Carolina Black Mouth Curr will be medium to large and muscular yet slender in build. Their coats are usually short and dense that can be brown, tan, or yellow, with or without white areas around their body. The Carolina Black Mouth Cur mix may have a shy nature at first but will accept its human as part of the pack once it has formed a close bond with them. They may be wary of strangers, are known to have protective instincts with children, and can thrive in a multi-pet household. Colt is medium in size, about 50#. In the Prison Program he has good husbandry skills, crate training, rides in car. Colt's obedience training started, and after he has been with us for a week, his real personality came out. Very happy boy and does have that shy nature at this point in his life. But he's also gone through a lot in his short life and when in a stable, kind environment, he may overcome some of the shyness. Colt's Adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Please include your location and a phone number for future communication.

Story
Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. Journey is waiting to have a home of his own with people who will provide him with the love and attention he deserves.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
