SNAPPER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    Snapper is an 18-week-old Carolina/Lab mix. At only 23 pounds, he is a timid pup, but when he is in a secured crate, he obviously feels safe to act tough and will bark at others to announce his presence. Snapper is crate trained and plays well with his siblings and other pups. Snapper will let you pet him and bathe him, as well as give him medicine too. He is gaining on fully building trust with humans.   He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, puppy shots as well as rabies shot. His adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Snapper up north after he is adopted.  To apply to adopt Snapper, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 30, 2023, 2:26 pm

SYNDIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED!    Syndie is an 18-week-old Carolina/Lab mix. She has a beautiful, shiny black coat, a precious dainty face, and a sweet, quiet disposition. Syndie had a freak accident when she was about 12 weeks of age and injured the nerves in her pelvic area. As per the veterinarian specialist, she has healed, is gaining strength in her rear legs, and is FULLY functional as evidenced by running and playing with her siblings. However, she will probably always walk with a slight limp. She is ready now for a special loving, caring FURever home.   She is fully vetted including spay, microchip, puppy shots as well as rabies shot. Her adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Syndie up north after she is adopted.  To apply to adopt Syndie, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 30, 2023, 2:26 pm

Story
Meet our newest precious Ruby! This glowing brown mixed breed gorgeous girl is 6 months old, 30 pounds, VERY smart and just plain fun!! She would love to do agility or any other activity as long as it's with you - she likes to keep busy and then just as much loves to curl up by the fire with you. She has been great with all the dogs, large and small, at her Foster's house, as well as great with their cats, and she is the perfect age - puppy basic training is done but still very much a puppy at heart! Ruby's three siblings came to us from the same shelter in Texas last month and found their homes quickly - so we are guessing this happy girl will be popular. Apply now to make her part of your family! The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. Petconnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system. If you are interested in adopting this dog,  please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/genericYou can learn about the adoption process by visiting:  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.  Dog's Name:   WILEY (WIL0222LEEMD)Estimated Breed:   Carolina Dog/Australian Kelpie MIX (BEST GUESS) Approximate Age:   3-4 years Approximate Weight:   30 lbs Living at:  Foster DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Wiley is pretty amazing and we are not sure why he keeps getting overlooked!  He is living with multiple dogs and prefers the calmer ones.  He does take a minute to warm up but once he does he will be sleeping by your side in no time.  He would do best in a home with another dog.  He is a quiet fella and pretty low maintenance.  If you are looking for a calmer gentleman, please don’t wait and get your application in.  He will not do well in a city environment and needs a quiet suburban neighborhood.  Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Luna is 1yr and 2mos old, weighs 30lbs, is up to date on her vaccines, but is not spayed nor microchipped.  Poor Luna hates car rides, as she gets nauseous.  Luna's guardian adds:  " Luna is an amazing caring animal. Living with her is so beautiful, she tends to be very friendly and playful with the people she loves and trust.  Always wanting to be pet by nudging her nose on your hand, pushing her toys to you to let you know she wants to play, and whenever you feel down she will lay next to you and lick your face and give you a million kisses. She knows two commands very well such as "sit" and "cage" (when she needs to be caged).  Overall, she is a happy energetic dog, loves to play and cuddle and be pet. I always see her tail wagging so much and especially when she sees the leash, she loves going outside.  Every time we go to the park, loves playing ball.  She will run and run and bring back the ball and continue playing.  I will miss her so much, I wish I didn't have to rehome her!"  Luna's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her:  " Recently, my schedule has changed that I no longer have time to provide Luna a lifestyle that will work for her.  In addition to that, I can no longer afford her expenses for much longer due to personal expenses that came up unexpectedly." Luna's guardian states the following regarding children:  Luna hasn't lived with children or otherwise been around children outside the home, so her guardian doesn't recommend her living with children.   Luna's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Luna has lived with dogs, so her guardian recommends her living with dogs, stating "When going on a walk, she usually does not pay attention to other dogs.  However, when we are at a park and sees another dog playing, she wants to play too!  Though she is reactive to squirrels and birds." Luna's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Luna has lived with cats, so her guardian recommends her living with cats, stating "As far as cats outside of my home, her behavior is unknown.  Though in my house, she is very close to my cats and sleeps near them if my cats allow her to.  Luna's guardian describes her as: Very active Barks alot Playful Friendly Shy Affectionate Fearful Protective Always at your side House-Trained Separation anxiety Luna's guardian describes her ideal future home:  " The ideal future home I am looking for Luna is a home where the family can work with her and put the effort and time to help her mentally when it comes to separation anxiety.  In addition to that, a home where she can release all her energy.  Have her on walks, running and playing with her, and allowing her to be free.  She loves cuddling and being near her humans. As for structure, preferably a home where there is a big yard where Luna can run around and be free, she loves running.  She loves playing ball.  Luna is a very energetic dog."
