Story
Meet Virginia! Breed: carolina dog mix? Your guess is as good as ours. Age: approx 3 years. Weight: est 35lbs. Training: crate trained, doing well with house and leash training. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with adults/kids? She can be timid/reserved at first, but that doesn't last long. She warms up to be very loyal and affectionate. Personality: shy, but loving and friendly. Reason for rescue: Virginia was dumped at a coal mine in VA. She has had at least 2 litters. A sweet family caring for them reached out for help with the last litter and got them to our rescue! Virigina was very skittish when first dumped there, but has come SO far! She has so much potential and will make a wonderful companion! She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $75.January 27, 2026, 11:52 am

Story
Gunner is a loveable and playful dog who enjoys meeting new people. He loves to run but is also happy to lounge in the sun or with a human companion. If you don't mind some snoring or an adorable underbite, he's the bestest boy! Gunner has a moderate to high energy level. He loves to run, play, hike and explore. Gunner enjoys chewing on his toys (not any furniture), roughhousing, chasing the ball and playing in the water. Gunner would thrive in a family environment with kids, a fenced in back yard, fun activities and good walks. Gunner knows basic commands, is house-trained and is working on off leash recall. He cannot be in a crate as it stresses him out too much and he will try and break out. He has mild separation anxiety but that is getting better and he does better when he is left in the house and not in a crate when left. Gunner is up-to-date on all vaccines, on apoquel and simparica tro and microchipped. He is a great companion and a good boy.
