She would very much like to chase moving objects like cats, squirrels, and deer but is unlikely to hurt one (and unlikely to catch one). She loves to play with other dogs. Amelia has had puppies before and has that mom wisdom and sweetness. She is loyal, loving, and devoted to the people she calls her own. That said, she loves meeting new people too. She was saved from a municipal shelter in Memphis after all her puppies were adopted and she was scheduled for euthanasia. She is smart and eager, and enjoys being outside – watching the birds, the neighborhood, or snoozing in the sun. Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior.
