Story
Located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders. Daisy was brought in with day old puppies, surrendered due to her being chained to a dog house. She is sweet girl who loves people! She is energetic, happy and gets along with other dogs. She has a very joyful personality who did not let her start ruin her life. She knows her name, does okay on a leash and does well in a car. She would be a great adventure companion who is open to new adventures with a new family

Story
Buddy is a neutered male approximately 6.5 years old. He has lived with his dog momma for the entire duration since she adopted him 6 years ago. She passed away last week. I am helping her son find Buddy a home. He is an American Dingo/Carolina Dog mix. Very intelligent. Loves cuddles and kisses and playing fetch. He knows many tricks and commands. House trained. Would do great with an active owner who enjoys hiking, walks and visits to the park. Although he is not good with other animals, he is loyal and amazing. He had a big yard that he played in regularly, but the owner was a senior. She did not take him out often. He would be just as happy hanging out at home, but i suspect the active life would be better. He is located in Woodbridge, VA. I am helping his son from Las Vegas. Please contact me and I will facilitate meeting Buddy. His son is grieving and handling his mother's affairs, so please reach out if you think Buddy would be great for your home. The fee is negotiable. ❤️

Story
Did you ever look up at the sky and see things in the clouds? Oh look, it’s a dragon! An ice cream cone! A dog… no wait… it’s Kira!Easy to get confused. In both appearance and demeanor, Kira is less “dog” and more “gently drifting weather pattern.” The good kind. The kind that softens the sun without ruining your day. The kind that makes you think, “Yes, I could sit here for a while.”Kira is ten years old, which in dog terms means she's achieved a level of wisdom most of us are still working toward. She understands the important things in life -- where to nap, how to walk politely on a leash, and how to move through a home like a true professional. She's fully housetrained, with excellent house manners, the kind you don’t have to think about because everything just… works. She's a Lab/Carolina Dog Mix, a slightly chonky 70-pounds.She's lived with other dogs, cats, and respectful children, and managed to get along with all of them, which frankly puts her well ahead of many humans.Kira didn’t do anything to end up here. No bad decisions, no behavioral quirks, no “one small issue” buried in the fine print. She was a beloved family dog, and through circumstances beyond her control, she now finds herself needing a new place to land.If you’ve ever wanted your own personal cloud -- the kind that follows you around, doesn’t block your view, and somehow makes the whole sky better -- Kira is waiting. And she’s very, very good at what she does.Kira's waiting to soften your day at Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA. Visiting hours are 9am to noon, daily, including weekends and holidays.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.

Story
BARBIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!    Barbie is a 5-year-old weighing around 40 lbs with a sweet, gentle soul. She’s partially blind in one eye, but it doesn’t slow her down or dampen her spirit one bit. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to sit. Barbie walks nicely on a leash using either a prong collar or a martingale. She’s great with dogs, kids, and cats, and does wonderfully being left home alone while you’re at work—no destruction, no drama. Barbie enjoys a calm lifestyle and prefers being near her people. She’ll fetch a ball a little, but toys aren’t really her thing. What is her thing? Snuggling in bed and keeping you company. She has no allergies, isn’t picky about food, and takes treats very gently. While she’s not a fan of baths, she’s patient and cooperative for nail trims. Overall, Barbie is an easy, low-maintenance companion who just wants to be close to you. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving dog who fits easily into home life, Barbie could be your perfect match. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Barbie up north to her new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Barbie here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!
