She knows her name, does well on a leash and does good in a car. She would be a great adventure companion who is open to new adventures with a new family

Name: Betty Ross Best Guess for Breed: Carolina Dog mix Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of June 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 40 lbs as of 6/7/26; she is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Special adoption considerations: Betty Ross is a sweet but shy dog who would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Betty is Looking For: Her forever home! This young girl is at the tail end of puppyhood and is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up.
