At a little less than 10 lbs and 2 months old, someone dropped these two sweet brothers off and just drove away, leaving them to fend for themselves. A kind neighbor called the rescue and, of course, we had to say yes. Now both of them are looking to be adopted into their own forever homes. They are just as sweet as pie, playful, love play time with each other and other dogs and are just as silly and goofy as a puppy should be. Jackson is going to make someone a fantastic family dog. He loves to cuddle and sit on your lap! He is great with kids, other dogs, and even likes the cats. He is doing very well on his potty training and is fully crate trained but still needs a bit of work on leash walking. He is current on shots, has been neutered and microchipped and is ready to join his forever family.  According to his foster, 4 ½ year old mix of Carolina Dog and Shepherd named Butter is “exquisite!” What could she mean by that? First of all is his medium coat of red and gold that shines in the sun.  He weighs between 50 and 55 pounds and is quite trim at that.  His eyes are large, especially when they’re looking into yours.  What else? Butter is gentle and easy going. He always takes treats from your hand easily.  He enjoys going for walks and playing with tennis balls. He is sweet and enjoys giving hugs, being brushed, and receiving belly rubs!
