Story
Meet Morgana! Morgana was rescued as a kitten after she bravely found her way out from under a truck on the highway. She's been a cherished companion ever since. Morgana is a healthy and happy 8-year-old cat. Sadly, my landlord has changed the pet policy, and I can no longer keep Morgana. I'm looking for a caring person or family who will give her the attention and love she deserves. She's laid back, adventurous, and incredibly curious. Morgana is affectionate, loving, and always ready to explore or curl up for a cozy nap. She would make a wonderful addition to any home.

*Adoptions are currently by appointment. If you'd like to learn more or you are interested in adopting, please use the "Apply for Adoption" button to complete our adoption survey. This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.* Hello, my name is Peppermint Penny. I was rescued from a feral cat colony and was very friendly outside, and slowly learning more about the joys of inside life. My foster mom was very patient letting me relax in my own space, and once I am more secure, I am happy to be petted and will start purring. I still feel a bit hesitant about being approached, but getting more comfortable every day. My bestie is my colony mate Midnight! Do you have room in your heart and home for both of us? Come meet us at CARE today!

This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.* Hello, my name is Ezekiel. I am a super smart, energetic, and motivated boy! I have been learning a lot of tricks to earn extra wet food and treats that I love. So far I can walk on a harness, sit, jump up, and "touch." I also have a thick coat of velvety fur and will make a snuggly cat for the right family. The shelter staff here say that my ideal home will help me settle my high energy by giving me puzzle feeders and managing the amount of stimulation I get with playtime and training-they will have some good advice for you. If you ask me, I want lots of activity, prey play time, and body rubs. I feel most comfortable when I'm not around other cats, but I don't seem to mind being around polite dog friends. If you are the home to spoil me, please fill out an adoption survey today!

*Adoptions are currently by appointment. If you'd like to learn more or you are interested in adopting, please use the "Apply for Adoption" button to complete our adoption survey. This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.* Hello, my name is Silver. I am a very sweet and very big boy! I love chin scratches and if you hit the right spot, I start to purr and drool. I seem to like kids and don't mind when dogs walk past my cubby. Something special about me is that I am FIV+. FIV is Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. I should live a long and healthy life but need some special care in my new home. FIV+ cats should be kept exclusively indoors, free from unnecessary stress and fed a high-quality diet. Most importantly, any health issues that do arise — be it a dental issue, parasite infestation or common feline infections (like a UTI) should be dealt with as soon as possible by bringing me to the vet. FIV is not transferable to humans or dogs and is very hard to transfer to other cats. If you have room in your heart for a special boy like me, fill our an adoption survey today! Feel free to call C.A.R.E. for more information too.
