Story
Irene, or ReeRee as we call her, is ADORABLE! She’s a dainty, lil snuggle nugget who is curious about everything you do and wants to follow you everywhere you go. ReeRee came to AFA from Austin, Texas in early February, and loves being a Colorado gal. She may look like a tiny kitten, but she’s about 5 years old! Her soft dilute calico coat is unique and her foster mom likes to find different shapes in her fur. Some of ReeRee’s favorite things are: cozy blankets, wand toys, kitty treats, exploring any cabinet or closet you open, and chasing tennis balls. Yes, tennis balls; they are so exciting! She was also a huge fan of watching the Olympics, cheering on the luge and hockey competitors. ReeRee has lived with a large gentle dog, and would probably get along well with another playful cat or dog with proper introductions. She has perfect litter box manners, and uses scratching posts. Reach out to AFA and see if you are a good match to adopt ReeRee! *Come meet me this Saturday (03.14.26) at the Fort Collins PetSmart from 10am-2pm! This event is first come, first served so we recommend arriving early if you have a specific furry friend in mind! This event operates on a number system so upon arrival make sure to get your number and we will call numbers up in groups! Please note in order to receive a number you need to be an approved adopter within the last 3 months. We will have paper applications available at the event as well as our application via our website! We hope to see you there! :)*

Story
Ilia- Ilia is a sweet but slightly shy little void. He chooses not to match the exuberance of his litter mates, but still enjoys attacking a dangly toy in his pop up tent. Ilia would love having a confident cat to live with. He might not feel the need to clamber all over his human, but he does enjoy lying next to them and being gently petted. *Come meet me this Saturday (03.14.26) at the Fort Collins PetSmart from 10am-2pm! Story
Danny- Danny is a mischievous orange tabby who loves his litter mates, and especially his mother, but is ready to head out into the world. He enjoys climbing up cat trees and playing with all sorts of toys, but if they have feathers he will growl like a fierce hunter. Danny would do best in a home with plenty of playmates, and when he’s ready for a break he loves to cuddle on your lap. *Come meet me this Saturday (03.14.26) at the Fort Collins PetSmart from 10am-2pm! Story
Ripley will need plenty of time and patience to adjust to her new home. To help her feel safe, start by setting up a quiet sanctuary room with food, water, a cozy bed, toys, a scratching post, and a litter box. The room should offer hiding spots and perches to help her feel secure.Once Ripley has had time to settle in and feel comfortable, you can begin a slow, gradual introduction to other pets and areas of the home. With time, understanding, and a gentle approach, she’ll start to come out of her shell and feel at home.
