Story
Hello! My name is Milo and I am a sweet but shy kitty looking for a quiet home. I have shown some uncomfortable signs towards other cats while here at the shelter so I may do best in a home with no other cats. If you do have other cats I will need a very slow and steady introduction. I would love to meet you!

Hi, I am Mesa. I am a super sweet and outgoing kitty looking for a home. I like to cuddle, explore and bask in the sun. I can get easily overstimulated so I need a home without kids under 12. I would love to meet you.

Story
Hello! I am Pickle! I am a sweet but shy kitty looking for my new home. I do not like being picked up and carried so I need to have a home without children under 12. I LOVE head scratches and getting nice pet massages, I can sit there all day and let you pet me! I get so happy sometimes that I also make some biscuits! Even though I am shy I know that with the right family I can become the confident cat I know I can be! I look forward to meeting you! This cat tested positive for FIV. FIV-positive cats do not inherently have a shorter lifespan; studies show they can often live as long as uninfected cats. While the virus weakens a cat`s immune system, making it more vulnerable to secondary infections, proper care—including a good diet, regular vet check-ups, and a low-stress, indoor-only environment—allows many FIV-positive cats to have a normal, healthy life. Please see our Client Service Representatives for more information.

Story
This is what my previous owner says about me: Peanuts likes to sleep anywhere. She is friendly and can be handled. She likes treats and is treat driven. She can be skittish around new people but warms up quickly with treats. She likes affection. She has been around other animals (cats and dogs). She will hide and then come out when she wants attention. Lots of toys!

Story
This cat is recommended as a Barn Cat because we have observed that s/he appears to be unfamiliar and uncomfortable with people. We believe that this cat is accustomed to living, likely with other cats, in a protected outdoor environment and may enjoy living in a barn or other outbuilding. Because, upon adoption, the environment will be a new one for this cat, there is a specific five-week acclimation process to help this cat remain safe in his new home. We recommend adopting another cat for companionship during and after this acclimation process. In time, this cat may even warm up to new people and may later enjoy time and attention.
