Story
Pepe is super shy at first, she has major stranger danger! But once she calms down she requires constant snuggles, and loves sleeping next to you in bed. If you work on the computer a lot, expect a lot of Pepe - she thinks work time equals Pepe snuggle time.Pepe started life a little on the shy side and is still semi-feral at heart—but don’t let that fool you. Once she feels safe, she’ll happily snuggle up, let you pick her up, and show you her softer side. She’s especially confident and happy when she’s around other cats, so she would love a home with feline friends to help her shine. If you’re looking for a kitten who’s as special on the inside as she is on the outside, Pepe could be your girl. With a patient family and a kitty companion or two, she’s sure to blossom into a loyal, loving friend. She currently lives with her foster family in Parker. Her sister Dory (Dorian, a gray and white tuxedo) is also available. Dory is just as shy but just as snuggly and sweet once she warms up. Their foster home has three dogs and several adult cats, which Pepe really enjoys!Born in March 2025. foster: erst   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under)    $125 for cats (older than 6 months)    $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
