Story
Eclipse~ Neutered male kitten, $250. Eclipse is a handsome little shadow who will happily follow you wherever you go. If you’re searching for a loyal sidekick, he’s your perfect match. This affectionate boy adores nuzzling your face, showering you with tiny kitten kisses, and curling up as close as he can whenever there’s a chance. Don’t let his cuddly nature fool you — Eclipse is bursting with playful energy! He’s always ready for fun, whether it’s chasing toys, pouncing on imaginary “prey,” or zooming around the house in full kitten mode. His lively spirit and curious personality bring joy and laughter to every day. Eclipse has limited vision in his left eye due to a previous cornea rupture, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He navigates the world with confidence and doesn’t let anything stand in the way of playtime or affection. He is also FIV+, which simply means he has a weakened immune system. With regular veterinary care, a healthy diet, and an indoor-only lifestyle, FIV+ cats can live long, happy, completely normal lives. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, so friendly cats like Eclipse can safely live with other non-aggressive cats. Eclipse gets along wonderfully with other cats, making him a fantastic addition to a loving home. He’s social, sweet, and overflowing with love — just waiting for his forever person to follow around. Apply at cokittycoalition.com to meet him in Fort Collins! ##2661696##

Story
Garfield~  1 year old neutered male, $150. FIV+ Garfield is a large, magnificently fluffy orange cat who firmly believes that the world exists for three reasons: naps, snacks, and being admired. Weighing approximately “pick him up and regret it” pounds, he is a champion lounger, a professional sunbeam tester, and a full-time critic of empty food bowls. Garfield adores people. He doesn’t just like humans — he collects them. He will follow you from room to room like a very large, orange shadow with opinions. He thrives on attention, leans into pets like he’s trying to merge souls, and purrs with the enthusiasm of a small, fuzzy motorcycle. If you sit down, he will sit on you. If you lie down, he will supervise. Personal space is a myth, and Garfield is here to prove it. When he’s not perfecting the art of relaxation, he’s a surprisingly playful goof. Feather wands? Incredible. Crinkle balls? Life-changing. Mysterious string that definitely belongs to something important? His greatest conquest. He will gallop after toys with shocking athleticism for a cat whose primary hobby is “horizontal.” Garfield is FIV+, which just means his immune system needs a little extra TLC and he should be kept indoors where he can live his best, safest life. Many FIV+ cats live long, happy, completely normal lives — especially when their biggest stressor is deciding which couch cushion to conquer next. Speaking of stress, while Garfield loves humans with his whole fluffy heart, he can be a bit nervous around other cats. He’s more of a “let’s take this slow and discuss our feelings” kind of guy. With a patient, gradual introduction and a calm environment, he can adjust — but he’ll need a human who understands that confidence is built one sniff at a time. Dogs however? Big fan. Garfield is happy to show off his biscuit making skills to any calm, respectful doggy friends on site.  When asked about his life goals, Garfield humbly states: “something, something, joke about lasagna,” then immediately rolls over for belly rubs he may or may not allow. Apply at cokittycoalition.com to meet him in Loveland! ##2668157##

Story
Toby~  2 year old neutered male, $150. Do you like cats? Do you like joy? Do you like things that are 100% pure happiness wrapped in fur? Then Toby is your guy. He comes fully certified as an Orange Boy, which is basically a fancy way of saying he’s a professional snuggle machine with a PhD in making everyone smile. This ginger goofball loves everything: humans, cats, the floor, a sunny patch by the window… basically life itself. Toby wants to be friends with everyone—even the neighbor’s goldfish (we think). Whether you’re a cat, a human, or a slightly confused houseplant, Toby will greet you like you’ve been besties forever. Apply at cokittycoalition.com to meet him in Loveland! ##2668189##

Story
Tremor ~  1 year old spayed female, $150.  Tremor, whom we've renamed Sheba, is one freaking fantastic and nutty cat. Sheba has the most mild case of cereballar hypoplasia (CH) ever - she can jump on couches, chairs and coffee tables, and knock over dad's drink cups, juuuuuuuuuuuuust fine. She also manages to get herself into interesting predicaments (like getting herself stuck in tomatoe cages - have no idea, don't ask). Sheba is not limited in her mobility AT ALL and you only know she has CH in the way she moves her head. Sheba LOVES to be around her people and will loudly cry if she can't find you. When I say loudly, I mean LOUDLY... and off-key. In fact, it is her off-key siren that first alerted us to the fact that she's also deaf. New friend: the vaccuum cleaner --deaf, remember?? Sheba has ZERO fear. She met our dogs the first day here and she smacked every single one of them, waltzing in like this was HER house. She's been exploring and ruling since. She has since snuggled a 100 lb dog on the bed (after one said smacking), tries to run into the garage for car rides (we think she would be a great candidate for harness walks), begs for food in the kitchen with the rest of them, does the zoomies around the living room, and likes to perch on the backs of couches or chairs to observe her peasants. Sheba LOVES to play with toys, even if those toys are dog bones that weigh as much as her.  All jokes aside, Sheba is really stellar and a LOT of fun! She's brought a lot of laughter, giggles, and headshakes to our home. She reminds us more of a dog than a cat. She gets along with our cats, and it's only been 5 days. Some hissing here and there, but nothing horrible. Sheba is going to make someone's family absolutely fall head over heels in love with her. Are you ready to spoil the Queen ... of Sheba?  Come meet her at her foster house in Loveland, Colorado. ##2668221##
