Story
Meet Rocket! This handsome and social cat is ready to start his new life! Rocket was previously adopted from our shelter but recently found his way back to us when he was not getting along with the resident cat in his new home. Rocket previously lived with several other kitties, so he may be fairly selective on the feline companions or prefer to be the only cat in his new home. Rocket is a friendly boy that loves to play and chat to you about his day. He isn`t a huge fan of being picked up but loves to cuddle and would be a great kitty to watch the birds outside a window and hang out while you watch your favorite TV show. He is also a silly boy who will entertain you for hours with his silly antics. He loves toys and should do well in a home with respectful kids and possibly even a pup or two!Rocket is already neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on his vaccines. Come meet this dashing boy, he is ready to find his happily ever after!

Story
Are you looking for a companion who brings a perfect blend of sweet and sassy? Then allow us to introduce Molly—a gorgeous two year old spayed female kitty.Molly lives by one rule: It`s her world, and you just get to live in it (and provide the head scratches). She has a ton of personality and loves to chat to you about her day. Molly was surrendered to our shelter when her previous owner could no longer give her the attention she deserved. When Molly first arrived, she was very nervous and wasn`t sure how to react to shelter life. It also didn`t help that she was surrounded by a ton of cats that had arrived at our shelter from a recent protective custody case and were also really confused about their current situation. It took Molly a few days to settle in but now she is sweet and very loving. She loves a good scratch under the chin and would do best in a home as the only feline as she wants to be queen of the castle. We are not sure how Molly feels about canine friends but we will update you as we learn more. At this time, we think Molly would do best in a home with adults and older kids that understand sassy cat behavior.Molly is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on her vaccines. Come meet this gorgeous gal!

*Adoptions are currently by appointment. If you'd like to learn more or you are interested in adopting, please use the "Apply for Adoption" button to complete our adoption survey. This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.* Hello! My name is Poet. I am a beautiful, black cat who is a bit introverted at first, but have warmed up to staff here at CARE very fast. I love head scratches and being pet; its the way to my heart! Having a sanctuary to hide in when I am sleepy is a must as well. Something special about me is that I am FIV+. FIV is Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. I should live a long and healthy life but need some special care in my new home. FIV+ cats should be kept exclusively indoors, free from unnecessary stress and fed a high-quality diet. Most importantly, any health issues that do arise — be it a dental issue, parasite infestation or common feline infections (like a UTI) should be dealt with as soon as possible by bringing me to the vet. FIV is not transferable to humans or dogs and is very hard to transfer to other cats. If you have room in your heart for a special boy like me, fill our an adoption survey today! Feel free to call C.A.R.E. for more information too.

I am a sweet young girl that loves to play, climb, and cuddle. I have only ever lived in one quiet home, so I may be shy at first. I am looking forward to a new adventure and once I get comfortable, letting my personality shine! I enjoy hunting toys around the house and playing with my cat friends. If you are looking for a new fun friend, I might be just the one for you!

This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.* Hello, my name is Oswald; Ozzie when I'm being sweet, which is A LOT! I may seem shy at first, but don't be fooled - petting and snuggles make me roll around, purr, and make excellent biscuits. I must be a special boy because I was taken such good care of by C.A.R.E and its partners after I was found with some gunshot wounds in my spine and shoulder. Thanks to their love and care, I am feeling so much better. They tell me I may walk funny in my right hind leg, but that I am ready to be adopted to an adoring home! If you'd like to find out more about my story, contact C.A.R.E. and come give me some snuggles! Ask about the lovely care package donated by Happi Animal Project that will go home with me!
