Story
I've had Socks for about a year or so and found her on the streets. She should be around 2 years old maybe 3. Also I don't know for sure on Sock's breed.I'm giving her up for adoption because no matter how much I try to train her she always likes to potty on the ground next to her litter box. I've tried multiple things but they don't work so if someone else can take her and help her i would be happy with that.

Story
Hi, my name is Freckles and I'm about 4 1/2 years old.  I was a stray and rescued by a BCHS volunteer, and brought to Bond County Humane Society to find a loving permanent home. I am playful and like to chase bouncy balls. I like to get to know you before I want to be petted.  Of course, this is all on my terms.  I determine when and how long you can pet me.  I love to explore and look in all the nooks and crannies around the shelter. I am considered Special Needs for a couple reasons.  First, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  FIV is comparable to AIDS in people. It is transmitted to other cats by scratching or biting. There is not a vaccine available to provide immunity to other cats so I need to be the only cat in the household or live with other FIV positive cats. I can have a normal life expectancy of a cat. The most important things for me are a low stress environment, good quality food and regular veterinarian care.  Second, I was also diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) which requires me to have a special diet.  It is extremely important for me to stay healthy.  I get along well with the other cats who have been in the FIV room at the shelter.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee has been waived.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Whiskers and I'm about 11 months old. I was found as a stray and surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so I can find a new loving home. My white and grey fur is very handsome. I get along well with the other cats in my room and enjoy a little wrestling match too.  I get along with the other cats in my room, but I have bonded with another older kitten my age.   Her name is Odette.  We have become very close.  We love to lay together and groom each other.  Odette is grey/white so just the opposite of me, white/grey.   It would be wonderful if we could be adopted together since we are so sweet together.  I am a little shy, but soon I will come to you to be picked up and petted. I like to play with little spring cat toys! If you pick me up and pet me, you may notice a bone which seems to be sticking out at the bottom of my ribs. It is part of the xiphoid process of the sternum which is broken. I have been examined by a veterinarian and x-rayed. It was determined that the fragment is not threatening internal organs or causing any pain and doesn't need any treatment. I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $100.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.September 4, 2026, 6:03 pm
