Due to the type of work I will be doing, I have to give up both my kitties whom I love dearly. Ebonys estimated birthday is 8/26/2022. She is spayed, declawed in the front, up to date on all her shots and is very attached to Fred (orange/white, male, neutered, declawed in front) who brought her home in Jan 2023 as a barely 5 month old kitten. Both seem to be okay with quiet friendly dogs. Ebony is mostly black with white on her chest. She is shy and does not like to be picked up like Fred does. She will come to you when she wants attention. She loves to chase string, belts, or anything else being dragged across the floor and, if Fred is present, will often defer to him since he tends to like to take over playing. She will bump her head against your leg if shes looking for scratches behind the ear or a treat. She is more vocal than Fred and can be territorial.

Due to the type of work I will be doing, I have to give up both my kitties whom I love dearly. Fred came to us as a stray one hot July afternoon in 2021. He has been with us for 4 years and is an absolutely friendly, loving cat who loves to be held. Freds estimated birthday is 1/29/2019. He is neutered, declawed in the front, up to date on all his shots and is very attached to Ebony (black, female, spayed, declawed in front). Both seem to be okay with quiet friendly dogs. Fred is orange and white and needs low magnesium food so he does not develop struvite crystals which could cause urinary blockage. Fred loves to dive into freshly dried hot clothes, dive under bed covers and have you attack him through the covers, loves to chase belts or string that you drag across the floor, and tear through the house with Ebony.

Hi, my name is Freckles and I'm about 4 years old. I was a stray and rescued by a BCHS volunteer, and brought to Bond County Humane Society to find a loving permanent home. I live with another FIV positive cat at the shelter. I am playful and like to chase bouncy balls. I like to get to know you before I want to be petted. Of course, this is all on my terms. I determine when and how long you can pet me. I love to explore and look in all the nooks and crannies around the shelter. I am considered Special Needs for a couple reasons. First, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is comparable to AIDS in people. It is transmitted to other cats by scratching or biting. There is not a vaccine available to provide immunity to other cats so I need to be the only cat in the household or live with other FIV positive cats. I can have a normal life expectancy of a cat. The most important things for me are a low stress environment, good quality food and regular veterinarian care. Second, I was also diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) which requires me to have a special diet. It is extremely important for me to stay healthy. I get along well with the other cat in the FIV room at the shelter. I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee has been waived. Hi, my name is Fantasia and I'm 10 years old. I was originally rescued when I was about 6 weeks old. Me and my litter mates were abandoned by our owner. I was the only one of the litter that survived. I have been at Bond County Humane Society since I was rescued. I have lived in a foster home for awhile, but I was not comfortable and never acclimated to the environment so I came back to the shelter. I live in a community room with other cats and get along with all of them. I am friendly and playful in my normal environment. I like to play with a few of the other cats in my community room. I am very shy once I'm taken out of my environment. I do tilt my head to one side a lot. I have been seen by a veterinarian, but no cause has been determined for the tilt.
