Story
These two cats belonged to an elderly lady who has been placed in a memory care unit. The black-and-white one Jimmy takes just a little getting used to. He’s a little anxious until he gets to know you. Alvin, the orange tabby is afraid of newcomers, but loves nothing more than to sit and get petted all day. They’re both good cats. Just need a new home to the owners decline in Health.

Story
8 months old. She can be very sweet but she is so much work for just me living alone. Constantly scratching my carpet and refuses to move. Is a nightmare at the vet and comes home hissing and attacking her brother for 2 straight hours. I have made zero progress in warming her up to claw trimming. Doesnt play with any of the new toys I buy. I hate to separate her from her brother but I cant sleep at night. I just can't mentally or physically handle a girl tuxedo.

Patches, is 9 months old. He is very playful and loves playing with anything he can bat around with his little paws. He is energetic but loves his naps, especially when the sun is shining through the windows. He was born March 22, 2025. He loves to snuggle. He is well loved but my 88 yr old mother is having trouble with her feet and having a hard time keeping up.

Story
Little's is approximately a 2.5 year old Tortie. We fell in love with her and adopted her through the Springfield APL. Littles is missing one of her back legs, but it does not slow her down. She runs up stairs, can jump, climb, and get in and out of the litter box with no problems. Littles is up to date on shots and received the 3 year rabies vaccine this year, so she is good to go for a while. I can provide proof of vaccination to potential adopters. We unfortunately have to re-home Littles because she is aggressive to my other, senior female cats, which isn't unusual for Torties as they are known to be feisty. Littles does just fine with my adult male cat, so she may be okay with male cats, but I think the ideal home for her would be where she is a single cat. Despite the Tortie attitude, Littles is a very loving and affectionate cat. She loves to cuddle and sleep in bed throughout the day and night. Please reach out with any questions.
