Story
Dean is 5 years old and was a rescue initially. He was brought to me after weeks locked in a room with limited food and water. Despite this, he is extremely sweet, cuddly and loves to snuggle up in bed. He does have a high prey drive and needs regular playtime to burn that energy. He can live with other cats, so long as those cats are okay with playing a lot. He can be clingy, but does not have separation anxiety or any mental health concerns. We have lived with dogs in the past, one of which he absolutely loved (he was very calm and low-energy), but he was skittish around the other (he was very high-energy, very loud, and liked to chase cats). My family is moving soon, and we are unfortunately unable to take him with us. Even if we were able to keep him, we won't be able to afford veterinarian care prior to or after the move. No fee, because I just want to find him a safe, loving home. I am not rehoming him for monetary gain. Please reach out if you are interested.

Story
Rizzo is a 10-year-old female orange tabby cat. She is very sweet, but has also gotten grumpy with age. She is a single-cat household type of kitty, and could potentially work well with low-energy dogs, but it would be best for her health if she lives without other cats and dogs. She stresses out very easily around other animals. Rizzo likes to go outside when it's warm, despite our best efforts to keep her in. She is currently overweight, but we've been careful not to let her overeat and try to get her to exercise. She is very lazy when she's inside. She loves to cuddle, but does not enjoy being picked up and carried. She whines a lot, but genuinely does love attention. She likes kids who know how to deal with cats and respect cats' boundaries. She has never lashed out at anyone unless you've provoked her, but even then, she is extremely tolerant. She loves having her belly rubbed, though she might whine at first. She also lives for tuna, wet food, and treats.
