Story
Shimmer is a handsome tabby boy with soulful eyes and a gentle heart that is waiting for the right person to help it shine. Born in a park to a feral mother, Shimmer didnt have the easiest start in life, but he has already come a long way and continues to learn that people can be kind and loving.

Shimmer is a shy kitten who will need patience and understanding as he settles into his new home. If youve ever loved a timid cat and experienced the incredible reward of earning their trust, then you know just how special that bond can be. Shimmer is exactly that kind of kitty. The love he gives may not come immediately, but when it does, it will be worth every moment you invested in him.

He is very bonded with his siblings and looks to other cats for comfort and confidence. Because of this, Shimmer must have a feline companion in his forever home-ideally one of his siblings or another young, playful cat. Having a kitty friend helps him feel safe and encourages him to continue building his confidence.

When held securely and gently petted, Shimmer responds with a soft purr, a sweet reminder that he wants to trust and has so much affection to give. Each purr is a glimpse of the loving companion he is becoming.

Like most kittens, Shimmer has a few favorite things. Churu treats are high on the list, and he eagerly looks forward to his evening serving of wet food. A few tasty treats and a calm environment are excellent ways to win him over.

With his adorable tabby face, sweet personality, and quiet courage, Shimmer is looking for someone willing to see the wonderful cat hiding just beneath the surface. Give him patience, love, and time, and he will reward you with a bond that is deep, meaningful, and truly unforgettable.

Could Shimmer be the special companion youve been waiting for?

Good with cats, House-trained,
Story
Pearl is around 16 months old. She was formally an unhoused street cat with a lot of courage and smarts. In mid-April she had a litter of kittens and went to my friend's house crying and displaying that she wanted my friend to follow her. She brought my friend to a recycling bin where her 3 newborn babies were. I started fostering her and the kittens the next week. Pearl was a beautiful mother and a very respectful house guest. At one point, she even accepted an additional foster kitten as her own and cared for him for 2 weeks until he found a forever home. Pearl gets along with some cats, but not all. She made friends with 2 of my cats but not the boy cat. I think she'd do best rehomed with Uni, her kitten - they are a highly bonded pair (also available for adoption). She could also do good with another younger cat. Pearl is entirely litter box trained, she's clean, sweet, and plays like an athlete! She's been an absolute joy to care for.
