Story
Hawthorne made his way to one of our volunteers house so she went ahead and agreed to foster him. Hes sweet and playful and has done well with young kids, a small dog, adult cats and a busy household- he would make a great addition to nearly any family! All of our cats are in foster homes learning how to be well behaved house cats! All age appropriate vaccinations have been given along with dewormer and flea/tick/ear mite treatment as needed. Cats and kittens are nearly always spayed or neutered before adoption, in the event they are not there will be a $25 refund issued upon receipt of proof of spay or neuter within 6 months. We do allow out of state adoptions for an extra fee but we do not ship our pets. They must be picked up from us. Because we are all volunteer and foster based we do not have standard hours or a facility to visit, rather everything is done online through our webpage, from applying to adopting. Please visit our website www.fodrescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

I was found roaming alone one someone's property. I love playing with my foster cat siblings. I am very playful but also love snuggling. I am very afraid of dogs and would not do well in a house with them. Please let me show you how much love I have to give! All of our cats are in foster homes learning how to be well behaved house cats! Story
Mittens came to us after a citizen found her with part of her tail ripped off, it looks like a dog or coyote it such tried to grab her by the tail and she got away. Her tail had to be amputated at about the halfway point. And to add to her unique look shes a little cross eyed but doesnt appear to have any vision issues. Mittens is chill and likes to cuddle. Shell make some one a great companion! All of our cats are in foster homes learning how to be well behaved house cats!
