Story
We have had him for over a year after finding him at the humane society. This year has become very stressful in our house with deaths and many other factors that he keeps getting stressed out and needs a calmer situation. We hate to see him go but we love him but it is not fair for him to be over stressed causing bladder swelling! Before our added stress he had no issues. We have been exercising all options from plug in’s to help him and calming treats but he needs a calmer home with less stress going on! He is not a fan of other male cats but just fine with female cats and all dogs he doesn’t react.

Hi there, I'm Marina- your future mellow roommate. I'm an older gal who loves the simple things : a soft cat bed, gentle pets, and a calm home where I can nap in peace. I don't mind being held (as long as its done with care), and I get along nicely with other mellow cats and respectful kids. I've seen enough of the world to know I prefer things slow and steady- no chaos, please! Fun fact - I have diabetes! I need insulin two times a day. This does not keep me down.. I still love my chunky food! If you've got a relaxed home and a kind heart, I think well get along just fine. Scar is an old gentleman of a cat with a face full of stories and only a few teeth left to prove it. Age may have stolen most of his chompers, but it certainly hasn't taken his appetite. He still happily chows down on anything from soft meals to crunchy kibble. His little tongue often sticks out, giving him a permanently adorable look, and when he purrs it sounds more like a tiny roar.
