Nikki was 2 years old when her owner died (and wasn't discovered for awhile). She was not socialized to people, dogs, or other cats (we have several dogs and a cat), so she stayed shut in our office so she could recover from her trauma. We couldn't touch her for a year, but this past year she has let us pet and hold her, on her terms, of course. She loves to follow you around the house, and will sit on your lap on a little blanket if no one else is nearby. She needs to be an only pet, or maybe could adjust to a very mellow dog or cat who shows no interest in her. She'd be best in a very quiet household with no kids. She is curious and likes to check out everything. I was dumped in Valencia county and shortly thereafter gave birth to 5 beautiful kittens!  A kind lady feed us but could not keep us because she had big dogs inside and outside of her home.  Two of my kittens were given away before we were taken in to a Foster home where we have been loved and nurtured! I am a quiet, keep to myself, kind of girl. With patience I could live with another quiet cat but would live by best life in a home with no other animals or young children. I have been allowed to go outside and that is where I prefer to be.
