Story
Meet Bella!Bella is a cat whose spirit is as large as her size! her friendliness shines through every interaction, winning over the hearts of everyone she meets and which instantly made her a favourite among the shelter staff. Her sweet demeanor is complemented by a independent streak, making her a delightful companion who doesn`t require constant attention. Bella`s loyalty is unquestionable, always there to offer her comforting purrs and gentle presence. However, Bella prefers to be the only animal in the household, relishing in the undivided attention and love of her human companions. Bella is not just a cat, she`s a friend, a confidante, and a loyal companion. If you`re interested in meeting this lovely lady or have any questions, give us a call at 705-878-4618, send an email to info@hskl.ca or stop by during our open hours.

Story
"I am so happy to finally be able to tell you a little bit about me! My name is Mayo, and I have an estimated date of birth of June 1, 2025. KLAWS took me and my siblings in in July 2025 to give us the best chance to find forever homes, and now we are ready. I love to run and play with my siblings and toys. What kitten doesn't like to play? Once tuckered out, snuggling up for a recharge is the best. I would love to have a furry friend in my forever home to keep me company when the humans are away." KLAWS suggests that kittens go in pairs, or at least a home with friendly fur friends (dogs or cats), they can bond with when the humans are away. Our pets need their own safe space for the first little while to help them become familiar with their new surroundings (environment, smells, sounds, people, pets, etc) to be successful and comfortable in their forever home. Please send an email to 4klaws@gmail.com if you have any questions or are ready to welcome Mayo into your furever family. Adoption Fee: $250 (includes deworm, deflea, vaccinations, microchip, spay) To help us find Mayo a purrfect family, please care and share 🙏🏻🐾❤️ 🐾If you are able to foster for KLAWS, please email 4klaws@gmail.com to request an application. Help us help those in need🐾 #4klaws #4klawskitties #4klawsfosters #adoptdontshop #spayneuter #rescuesareworthit Until there’s none, rescue one 🙏🏼🐾♥️ All KLAWS kitties are required, by signed contract, to be indoor only and not declawed. All adopters are required to stay in touch for the life of the cat, through regular updates via our confidential KLAWS Family group on Facebook or via email. If we are not getting regular updates, a KLAWS representative may call. The follow-ups are purely to assure us of the animals’ wellbeing*
