Hi! My name is Mona. I am a young 3 yo Russian Blue Mix. I’m originally from a rescue near Chicago. My mom came to get me when I was just a baby because I was listed as a purebred Russian Blue. Russian Blue’s are known to be hypoallergenic & my mom is very allergic to cats. Turns out I am not hypoallergenic after alI & now I’m making my mom very sick. So I am in search of a new home. I’m super shy & will attach to one person. I will do best in a one or two person household. I am cuddly & will love on you, but you havta let me come to you. I don’t like to be picked up or held. Please just give me the time I need & I’ll be all over you, purring like crazy & begging for your pets. I like treats, toys, my tunnel, catnip, my cat tree, watching out the window & watching tv. I am entering into the military and would like the peace of mind that my loved ones are going to a good home if possible I would enjoy to stay in touch on occasion via text to just see how they are doing I first got Toby when my parents divorced and my dad took our only family pet so mom made it up to me by finding Toby who needed to be rehomed because the owners son was autistic and pulling on (at the time 9 month old) Tobys tail and hair. Toby has been my family since 2014 so 10 years. He is very tolerant of children and is curious of dogs. He weighs roughly 20lbs but loves to cuddle he likes to be under the warm blanket as well he is my best bud in the world and he deserves a very loving home. He must stay with Nyx his only other family he knows. Toby and Nyx need to be rehomed together.

One thing about Nyx is the best of her is always with Toby. Its not always smooth when introducing a new pet to the family relationships start rough these two would hiss at each other when they first met but now they have an unbreakable bond. Nyx prefers to sleep on the bed at your very feet and often will snuggle right up to Toby if he isn’t already cuddling with you. Nyx is very smart and very loving she’s definitely got a lighthearted nature to her. Must stay with Toby her only other family
