Prickly Pear came in at the same time, but was so shutdown and terrified that posting her just wasn`t appropriate. Well how things have changed since October and now it`s time to start searching for her forever family!Although she is still shy and reserved, each day is bringing surprises! Miss Pear now actively seeks pets from me, even before breakfast is served!! The resident cats do make her nervous, but then wouldn`t you get uncomfortable when someone stares at you until you finish eating??? I know that she would enjoy a friend or two, but it will take time for her to adjust to any home setting. Patience is going to be the way to this girl`s heart, could that be you?Miss Pear is nervous of men, but each day gets better. Trust is hard for this one, how we wish we could know her full story. Miss Pear is really so sweet and just needs the right family to find her. Time will be needed for her to become comfortable, and a quiet home would probably be the ideal place. If you`ve read this far, maybe this sweet girl is the one for you???Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): Nervous/shy with men

It has taken her quite some time to learn that people can be trusted. She spent her first several months in care hidden away. Nellie has had several foster roommates who have helped to bring her out of her shell. She has gradually become more comfortable and confident with her fosters. She loves to be around other cats but can play a bit rough at times. Nellie enjoys playing interactively with a wand toy or on her own with other toys. She is an enthusiastic biscuit-maker but don`t let her knead on you as her claws are sharp!Nellie has learned to love pets and she now frequently seeks them out. It is important to pay attention while interacting with her though as she still occasionally gets nervous and will reach out with a swat if she feels uncomfortable. Pets are more successful if you let her come to your hand rather than reaching out for her.Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): Nervous Nellie has graduated from the in-progress list to the adoptable list, but she will require a special adopter who is willing to work slowly to build a relationship with her. Patience and careful attention will be required, understanding that swats are likely to still happen.

He loves playing with toys and his cat friends and doing all the regular cat things. He is currently in a foster home with his brother Quicksand and his sister Quack Grass who are also up for adoption. Quantum would enjoy best a home with people who understands his needs but also wants to give him all the love. He hopes to meet you soon!Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? She’s on the shy side and takes her time getting comfortable in new spaces, preferring to observe quietly from a safe distance at first. New situations and new people can feel a little overwhelming for her, but with patience and kindness, she slowly begins to settle in.Once trust is earned, her soft and loving nature shines through. She’s tender, calm, and quietly affectionate in her own way. Never demanding, just grateful for gentle company and a peaceful environment. She has a soothing presence and seems happiest when things are predictable and calm. This lovely girl would thrive in a quiet home with someone who understands that the best relationships take time. A patient adopter who values slow mornings, soft voices, and small moments of connection will be rewarded with a deeply sweet and loyal companion. She`s happy with other cats, even ones with main character energy and is willing to let them take the lead.Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): Somerset hasn`t quite figured out cuddles yet. She`s unsure of sitting on a human`s lap but once she figures it out, I`m sure she`ll be a big fan. And she`s still a bit jumpy. She doesn`t like loud noises or sudden movement so play is not always fun for her just yet.

They both had frostbite injuries to their paws and tails. Trinket has lost half of her tail, but the paw injuries have healed well on both. Both kittens were very traumatized and spent days in hiding as best they could, but have come around a great deal and now follow their foster mom everywhere, spending lots of time cuddling. They still spook easily and would need a quiet home with patient people who can provide lots of loving care, you would be rewarded with lots of love and entertainment. They would not do well with younger children or a busy environment. Both have adapted well to the older cats in their foster home.Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about?
