Story
Rye is a male tabby kitty about 3 1/2 months of age. He has a soft, light ginger coat that will benefit from a weekly brushing to stay shiny. Rye has light gold fur, with dark orange striping throughout and a pink nose. Rye is a smart, big boy with a long tail and sweet disposition. He LOVES running to you for kisses and cuddles. Rye’s favorite toys are interactive wand or ribbon toys and things he can carry around. Like his siblings, Rye likes wet food more than dry and shreds or pieces not pate. Still growing, he eats a lot, per the fosterer. Rye gets along very well with other cats and kittens but has never seen a dog so that potential interaction is unknown. Rye came to the shelter with three other tiny kitties and three larger ones, maybe 4 weeks old. Too young for shelter life, they went to foster care until they were big and strong and now are ready for forever homes. Estimated DOB 8/29/25. Kittens require kitten formula food for one year for healthy development. Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter. 806-622-0555. Open Tues.-Sat. 12 to 5 p.m.December 11, 2025, 11:24 am

Story
Oreo is a female black and white kitty about two years of age. She has a fluffy, soft coat, mostly white, with adorable black markings. Oreo has a black stripe down her nose, a 'cap' over her head and a black tail from beginning to end. She has long white whiskers and pretty light eyes. This sweet lady is quiet, gentle and loving. She is a bit shy right now as she gets used to the change in her surroundings, but she is ready for a forever, loving home. Oreo is sure to make a wonderful companion, someone to snuggle up with to watch tv and perhaps share a pillow at bedtime! Come Meet Oreo! Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Story
Mouse is a young female black kitty we think about 1-2 years of age. Her silky short haired coat is all black as is her whiskers and nose. Her lovely light golden/green eyes really stand out against her coat. Mouse is a bit of a character, showing either a sweet personality or a spicy one depending on her mood. Her new person will probably need a bit of time to figure out her likes and dislikes to make everyone happy! Young kids are probably not a good fit for Mouse. Mouse previously lived with a gentle dog. Come meet this beautiful gal! Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter. 806-622-0555.October 29, 2025, 9:25 pm
