Story
Meet Soy Sauce 🖤🐾 Soy Sauce is the definition of a hidden gem. At first glance, she can seem a little shy and unsure, quietly watching the world around her from a safe distance. But the moment you stop to pet her, everything changes. 💕 Once she realizes she’s safe, Soy Sauce melts into affection and starts soaking up every bit of love she can get. She quickly goes from cautious observer to sweet little companion, leaning into pets and asking for more attention. She has a soft, gentle personality and seems to genuinely enjoy being close to people once she’s comfortable. Soy Sauce just needs someone willing to give her a little patience at first — and she rewards it with so much sweetness. If you love the quiet cats that blossom into total lovebugs once they trust you, Soy Sauce might be your girl. 🖤

Story
Meet Tony Biscuits the Third 👑🐾 Estimated 6–7 years old • Neutered male • FIV+ Tony Biscuits the Third looks like life has thrown just about everything at him… and somehow he still came out the other side loving people. With his torn ear, old scars, and worn-down face, it’s pretty clear Tony has had to survive more than his fair share. He also has a few broken canine teeth from his rough past. The Amarillo shelter veterinarian assessed his teeth and did not feel extraction was necessary at this time, though his future family should monitor for any signs of discomfort or difficulty eating as he ages. And despite everything? This boy is an absolute sweetheart. Tony LOVES being pet. The second you start giving him attention, he melts into it. He’s the kind of cat who seems genuinely grateful to finally be safe and cared for. After everything he’s been through, he deserves a soft place to land and someone who will love him exactly as he is. Tony is FIV positive, so he will need either: • A home as the only cat • Or a home with other FIV+ cats FIV+ cats can still live long, happy lives with good care, and Tony deserves the chance to finally experience that life. Because of his FIV status, Tony Biscuits the Third will be available by appointment only so we can help find the best fit for him. If you’ve got a soft spot for the scruffy, battle-tested cats with giant hearts, Tony may just be your guy. 🖤

🖤🥣 Meet Sushi, Soup & Socks 🧦🖤 This adorable trio has been through a lot together, and now they're finally ready to start looking for forever homes. Sushi, Soup, and Socks are playful, affectionate kittens who spend their days wrestling, chasing toys, climbing things they probably shouldn't, and then crashing together in a pile for a nap. They're curious about everything, love attention, and have all the classic kitten energy you'd expect. Soup tends to be the bold explorer of the group, while Socks is a little gentler and happy to follow along on whatever adventure is happening. Sushi rounds out the crew with plenty of playful antics and cuddles of his own. Together, they're a perfect mix of sweet, silly, and endlessly entertaining. These kittens have feline herpesvirus (FHV), which is extremely common in rescue cats. Because of this, they should only be adopted into homes with fully vaccinated adult cats or as the only cats in the home. While they are healthy and doing well, stress can occasionally cause flare-ups that look like upper respiratory infections (sneezing, watery eyes, congestion), and adopters should be prepared for the possibility of managing those episodes throughout their lives. After spending what felt like forever battling kitten colds and recovering, they're finally feeling well enough to attend adoption events and show everyone just how wonderful they are. 💕 If you're looking for playful companions, professional toy destroyers, and expert cuddle buddies, Sushi, Soup, and Socks would love to meet you. #AdoptDontShop #AmarilloTX #CanyonTX #RescueKitten #BlackCatsAreMagic #KittenSeason #RebelAnimalRescue 🐾

Story
Meet Wisp ☁️🖤 3 years old • Neutered male Wisp is the kind of cat who doesn’t demand attention… but quietly wins people over anyway. This gentle boy can be a little shy at first, especially in new environments, but underneath that cautious exterior is a very sweet cat who just wants to feel safe and loved. Once he settles in, Wisp enjoys affection and has a calm, peaceful presence that makes him easy to adore. He’s not the loud, chaotic type. Wisp is more of a soft companion who would be happiest in a home where he can relax, take things at his own pace, and slowly build trust with his people. If you have a soft spot for the quiet ones, Wisp may be exactly who you’ve been looking for. 🖤

Story
Meet Phoenix 🐾 5–6 years old • Torti with a serious face and a soft heart We’re just going to say it—Phoenix has major RBF in her photos. She looks like she runs a tight ship and has zero patience for nonsense. Honestly? That’s not entirely wrong 😅 Phoenix is a quiet, independent girl who prefers a calm, predictable home. She’s not here for chaos, busy households, or being constantly handled. She likes her space, enjoys observing from a comfy spot, and will come to you for attention on her terms. And when she does, she’s sweet—you just have to earn it. She would do best in a home without young kids. Older, animal-savvy kids who understand boundaries could be okay. She’s not aggressive—she just gets overwhelmed easily and feels safest when things are calm. She may be able to coexist with another calm, respectful pet who will truly leave her alone—but she would be happiest as the only animal in the home. She was surrendered for “fear aggression,” but what we’ve seen is a sensitive cat who just wants a peaceful place to land. Because busy environments stress her out, Phoenix is appointment-only right now so she can be met in a calm setting. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, independent companion with a little attitude and a lot of quiet charm, Phoenix is your girl 🖤
