I adopted him around two months ago during an event at the Hillard Event Center, where I worked as a security guard. He was the sole cat, they told me. I hadn't seen him yet, but when asked if I wanted to adopt a cat, I said yes. I didn't know what he looked like or his age, but the instant I saw him, I fell in love. He was a cute kitten. I was so happy that I agreed to adopt him. He is a very sweet cat; he's just too playful for my long-time cat, Monkey. I hope to find him a home that will welcome him and give him the love and attention he requires, as well as provide him with plenty of toys and keep him indoors, as it is all he has known up to this point. I hope he is matched with a decent caring family who will protect and adore him.

Cookie is looking for a home through no fault of her own. Her and I lived together for awhile but my life changed and I now have a fiance with two large dogs and two cats. Cookie is afraid of the dogs and the male cat. She will hide and not come out of the closet when they are around. This is not a good life for her. The male cat has begun to beat her up several times a day and this is an issue because I am often home alone with the pets and I am blind. I can not break up a cat fight because I can not see. Cookie is a good girl that loves to snuggle once she gets to know you. She likes to sit on my shoulder. But for the past two years her life here at home has become intolerable for her and I cant stand to see her unhappy and scared. Please consider opening your home to her if you do not have dogs, male cats or children. She wants to enjoy quiet time with her humans.

Rompus is 14 years old. He was found outside the church when he was a tiny kitten. His life has been good so far, living with another cat and a dog. Unfortunately, his owner, a 98 year old senior is no longer able to care for Rompus or the rest of the pets, so Rompus is looking for a new, loving, owner to spend his last years with. Rompus is loving and quiet, though he does like to explore. Rompus has been an indoor cat all his life. He knows nothing about cars, streets, or strangers, and thinks all dogs are safe. Rompus would do best with a small family with older children or a senior, who needs companionship. He takes his job of providing comfort, attention, and love very seriously. Prospective adopters should be aware that Rompus has an allergy that causes severe itching and his hair sometimes falls out. He receives an allergy shot once or twice a year as needed. Rompus will be bring with him, his carrier, food, favorite bed, and flea treatment for several months.
