Meet Mocha 🐾 We adopted Mocha from BARC Animal Shelter about 2 years ago, and he has been such a loving part of our family. He is great with kids, incredibly sweet, loves to cuddle, and enjoys relaxing in the sun. Life has gotten much busier for us over the past few months, and we’re no longer able to give him the time and attention he truly deserves. This has been a very hard decision, but we want Mocha to be in a home where he can receive all the love, cuddles, and companionship he thrives on. Drako is a sweet, low-key boy who may be shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he truly warms up and shows his loving personality. He enjoys a calm environment and is great with kids of all ages. He was born underweight, so he’s always been a bit more gentle and easygoing. Unfortunately, our schedules have become much busier over the past few months, and we’re no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves. The vet said he is about 4 years old. He was already neutered before he showed up in our yard. He is a sweet boy, loves head rubs, and will fall down in front of you for more head rubs. In the meantime we have been in the process of acclimating him to our cats, but it has been a long process. He gets overstimulated quickly and I have to separate him from the rest of my cats. Because of that he has his own room and I let him out for short periods of time. I normally keep just 2 of my cats out while he is out of his room. I don't think he knows how to act around other cats or people sometimes, so he needs work and someone with patience. He also has a little biting problem when he gets picked up and doesn't want to be. I guess whoever had him before didn't treat him right, so we need a patient owner to help him work through his behavior and provide a stable and loving home for him. After 3 months the fee will be refunded after we know he is doing well.

Hi, I am Boomer. My sister, Starry, aka Star, and I lost our human mom a few weeks ago. We are very sad as we had been with her for 7 years. She found us in her yard on 7/04/2016 when we were 4 weeks old. We are a bonded pair and need a home that will give us the healing time that we need. Right now, we can be a little temperamental and need a lot of understanding and compassion. But our foster mom believes we are worth the wait. We like scratching posts, but don't really play with toys. Maybe we will when we feel better. We lived with a dog named Gracie Lynn, aka Gracie. She is also up for adoption.
