Story
Meet Mama: The Original Dancing Queen Mama is a beautiful and resilient soul who has spent her life navigating the world as a semi-feral outdoor girl. For the past year, she has been a tireless mother, raising over four litters of kittens. She is a true survivor, but after all her hard work, she is ready to hang up her "mom" hat and find a peaceful place to land. Our Dream for Her: We are looking for a special person, a patient farm, or a cozy garden home where Mama can finally be spayed and live a life free from the cycle of constant pregnancies. She deserves to finally be the one who is taken care of! Things to Know: A Package Deal: Mama is currently expecting again. We are looking for an adopter with a big heart who is willing to care for her and her upcoming litter of kittens until they are ready for their own homes. Starting Fresh: She doesn't have official medical records yet, so she’ll need a clean slate with a kind vet. Location Preference: Proximity is very important to

Story
Things to Know: Independent But Gentle: Billy sometimes shows she’s feeling anxious by grooming herself excessive (barbering), so keeping her life calm and steady is key. She’s also an incredibly gentle soul and has never scratched a soul in all the years I've known her. The Royal Treatment: When it comes to fellow felines, Miss Billy insists on being the one and only – she needs to be the sole recipient of your love, and no other cats are allowed! Doggie Acquaintance: While she has successfully lived with dogs before, she's really hoping for a spot as your exclusive companion. Still, a home with a calm, polite canine friend would be considered. Fresh Start: She is a long-term stray I’ve been helping out, so she doesn't have official medical records. Billy is looking for a family ready to start a fresh health journey with a kind veterinarian. Why I Adore Her: This dear girl came into my life by surprise when she walked right into my old home. While she isn't officially mine, I’ve

Story
Meet Tiny Dancer: The Dancing Tortie! Age: Approximately 0–2 years Breed: Tortoiseshell Kitten Status: Sweet, Social, and Seeking her Forever Home! Tiny Dancer is a charming young kitten who joined our family after being found at our new residence. True to her name, she has a unique and endearing habit of "dancing" with her paws whenever she gets excited—it’s a sight that will absolutely melt your heart! Why she’s a perfect addition: Personality Plus: She is incredibly sweet, personable, and thrives on human connection. Great with Others: One of her best traits is how well she gets along with other cats, making her an ideal fit for a multi-cat household. Ready for Love: She is a gentle soul looking for a stable environment where she can share her affection. Note for Adopters: She is currently not fixed as far as we know. While we have loved having her as part of the family, she cannot stay with us long-term as we already have two other cats. She deserves a home where she can be

Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Meet Prentice! Prentice, Penelope and JJ came to us as after being dumped out in the country and being forced to fend for themselves. These kitties got tired of the outdoor lifestyle and traded in their hunting lifestyle for a warm home with all the cuddles they could get. Their ideal home would be a semi quiet one with no young children (as they startle easily). Their current foster home is one with a preteen kid and dogs and cats after the adjustment period they do just fine. The ideal adopter is a patient person that is willing to work with them and accept the adjustment period. All three enjoy their cat tree and sleeping in their soft beds. all 3 have been Spayed, had their Rabies Vacation tested negative for FIV, FELV and been microchipped. The fee to Adopt is $100 each, If interested please submit an application https://www.pethelpersinc.org/available-pets/     Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. ADULT DOGS (over 1 year) $225.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, first set of routine yearly vaccines, heartworm/lyme test, two rounds of dewormer, one  round of flea medication, and Microchip. KITTENS AND CATS $100.00,   Includes spay or neuter,  vaccine according to their age, two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medication, felv/fiv test, and microchip. For more information on this animal email adoptionisforever@pethelpersinc.org. Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV.  We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet.  We do not fly or use transport companies.  Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens.  Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough.  If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done.  All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet.  All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7.  The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family.  You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval.  This will enable us to accept another pet into that home.  Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc.  They are not to be sold or given away.   Check us out on Facebook!!!!!!  We hope you will give us two paws up, like our page and share with your friends.  Pet Helpers, Inc. She’s very friendly and loves to cuddle and purr. She loves to find different places to sleep and is a great bird watcher. Muffy has beautiful markings and four white paws. She wouldn’t sit still for pictures because she kept grabbing my hand and rolling over. Muffy is spayed, fully vaccinated, flea treated, felv/fiv negative, and dewormed. Muffy gets along with her furry friends in her foster home. There are no dogs in the foster home. Muffy would love a forever indoor home.
