Story
Hi, I am Gweneth! I am both a little sweet and a little spicy! I am not a fan of small enclosures. I do love to play and climb cat trees. I probably should not live with any kids under 10 due to my mood changes. I am spayed and microchipped, and my vaccinations will be up to date upon adoption. I will be available for adoption 1/22/26.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gordito began his life on the streets alongside his brother, Nacho Supreme. Born around October 2025, Gordito is just beginning to learn what it means to live in a human world. Now that he’s had time to settle and feel safe, his true personality is emerging. He’s the sensitive guy, the thinker of the pair: more cautious and less impulsive than Nacho.  When he lets his guard down, that's when the magic happens. Gordito has a big, magnificent purr that seems to come from his whole body. He’s also talkative, offering up comments and gentle complaints that let you in on his inner thoughts. Gordito has amazing climbing dexterity and would appreciate cat trees and other physical challenges for fun. He feels safest up high and tucked inside a comfy spot. Gordito loves being petted, but he is still learning to trust people to pick him up and hold him. We have a strong feeling that once Gordito fully decides to trust you, he’s going to be an incredibly devoted snuggle bug. But he needs his people to be reliable, trustworthy, and calm while he gains this trust. Gordito will find this trust in a quieter household of mature cat owners--older, respectful children only.  Right now, Gordito doesn't have the confidence to be an only pet, and would adapt much more quickly adopted alongside his bonded brother, Nacho Supreme. They will need some extra consideration as they are adapting to a life with humans. Your patience will pay off with the deepest bond from these loving kitties. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.    **Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email lawsdogprogram@gmail.com** January 21, 2026, 5:38 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nacho Supreme was born in Laramie around October 2025 to a feral colony. While afraid at first, Nacho made a decision a few weeks into foster care: this was the life for him — and he has never looked back. Now he greets his foster family with unfiltered joy, instant purrs, and enthusiastic requests for scritches. He plays with complete kitten abandon, throwing his whole heart (and body) into every chase, tumble, and pounce alongside his brother Gordito. Every now and then, when there's strange new noise or visitors, Nacho seems to remember that he was once a wild little street cat — but that memory fades more each day as comfort, safety, and affection take its place. What remains is pure sweetness wrapped in soft gray-and-white fur. Nacho is a supreme lap cat--if your lap is taking reservations, he'd like to book it every night of the week. Nacho is connected at the hip with his bonded littermate Gordito. He is friendly and polite with older cats in his foster household as well. We can already tell he’s going to grow into an energetic, enthusiastic, joy-filled companion who approaches life head-on. Life with Nacho Supreme will never be boring! For his confidence and adjustment to his adopted family, we recommend he be adopted with his partner in crime, Gordito, and to a family with older, respectful children only. Both cats will need an adopter willing to be patient, trustworthy, and take introductions slowly with them as they learn how to live with humans. Nacho is ready and willing to learn, but he just needs some time and gentle guidance, and he will be the best cat you've ever known.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org.
