Hello I'm Anchovy! I came from a super overwhelming situation and ended up here at the shelter. Since shelter life is another stressful enviornment I am looking for a home filled with quiet and peace. Regardless of my past, I am friendly but still have some shy tendencies. Those behaviors will subside once I gain trust from my new owner. I would do just fine in a home with other cats but unsure about dogs. I am fixed, microchipped and ready to come home!

🐾 Hi, I'm Simon! 🐾 I'm a handsome orange boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. While life hasn't always been easy, I don't let that stop me from being sweet, affectionate, and ready for a family of my own. I have feline herpes, a common virus that many cats live long, happy lives with. From time to time, I may experience flare-ups that can cause symptoms like sneezing, congestion, or eye irritation, and I may need a little extra care to help me feel my best. Because feline herpes can be spread to other cats, I would do best as the only cat in the home or with other cats who already have feline herpes. The good news is that I can't pass it to humans or dogs! What I'm really hoping for is someone who will look past my diagnosis and see me for who I am—a loving, deserving cat who wants a warm bed, a caring family, and a place to call home. If you're looking for a loyal companion and are willing to give a special kitty a chance, I'd love to meet you. ❤️🐱
