Meet Cha Cha — a happy, loving puppy with a heart as big as her playful personality! At just 3–4 months old, this sweet spayed girl is already proving to be an amazing companion and is ready to find her forever family. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and settling beautifully into home life. Cha Cha is almost fully house trained and does a great job letting you know when she needs to go outside. Like any young puppy, she may still have the occasional accident if you can’t get to the door quickly enough, but she is learning fast! She is also crate trained and does well with structure and routine. This little girl loves everyone she meets. She’s fantastic with kids, enjoys playing with other dogs, and absolutely adores snuggle time after a day of fun. While her foster family hasn’t tested her with cats yet, her young age and gentle nature suggest she would likely adjust well with proper introductions. Cha Cha is also becoming quite the walking buddy! She walks on a leash like a pro and loves going on adventures and neighborhood walks with her foster siblings. This pup will be available to meet starting on 5/16 They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. 7 month old Phoenix came to us as an Owner surrender. The owner was not aware of this breed and realized this is Not a city dog. Phoenix would do best with an active young family or a person who is active in hiking, walking or running. He'd also be suitable on a ranch where he can do what he was bred for. Herding sheep. Cattle etc. He is a bit on the shy side, however we believe thats just temporary until he aligns with his human. Phoenix is a puppy and will and can grow to be a medium to a large dog. Catahoulas have a very high intelligence level and are trained through patience and motivation. Catahoulas must have Daily exercise to keep their mental stimulation at a positive high. He's a wonderdul l, Beautiful boy with lots to learn and energy to to keep you laughing and moving along with him. His colors and spots are one of a kind.
