Meet Violet! This sweet girl is sure to steal your heart. She loves playing with her toys, exploring her surroundings, and pouncing on her canine foster brother to convince him to join the fun. She’s a smart pup who is catching on quickly to training and is eager to keep learning as she grows. Violet can be a little timid when meeting new people or encountering unfamiliar things, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe and comfortable. She’s working on building her confidence around things like stairs and doorways and continues to make great progress with a little patience and encouragement. Like any young dog, Violet has plenty of silly, playful moments and funny bursts of energy to keep you smiling. One of her foster family’s favorite quirks is her adorable tippy-tappy toes when she gets excited! Sweet, playful, and full of personality, Violet is ready to find a family who will help her continue building confidence, learning new things, and discovering just how much fun the world can be. Violet is a 10-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Violet is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). Meet Karmen, a beautiful 8-month-old Catahoula mix with a gentle heart, a curious little mind, and so much love just waiting to come out! This sweet girl may be a little timid when meeting new people, but don't let her shyness fool you. There's a beautiful personality hiding behind those nervous little barks, and she's slowly learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. When Karmen feels unsure, she may let out a few small barks to tell you she's nervous. But give her a little patience, kindness, and reassurance, and you'll start to see just how loving this girl can be! Once she realizes she's safe and that you're someone she can trust, her affectionate side begins to shine. Karmen is also quite the curious little explorer! She wants to see EVERYTHING and loves knowing what's happening around her. She enjoys being near her people, even if that means relaxing in her crate with the door wide open while everyone goes about their day. For Karmen, just being close to the people she trusts brings her comfort. Toys? Well, she's still trying to figure out what all the excitement is about! Raven would like nothing more than to be your dedicated sidekick, your ride or die, and your number one fan. This beautiful, dappled dog LOVES PEOPLE. And dogs. And being petted. And oh wow, treats! And TEENAGERS! Teenagers are the best! KIDS are the best! And holding hands? THE BEST. Life is good when you are a Raven. This kanga-Roo is hoping to hop his way into your heart! He`s an active guy that will appreciate an active lifestyle full of adventure. Roo hasn`t lived with other dogs but enjoyed romping with another pup here at the shelter! If you have a dog and are interested in Roo, bring them down for a meet-and-greet so we can help ensure it`s a match. And while he loves dogs, seeing them when on leash can be a bit frustrating for him because he just wants to play! Because of this, he will need to live in an area that has a lower density of neighborhood dogs (no apartments please!). Roo doesn`t seem to be a fan of sharing his food, so HSBV will only rehome him to a family either without children or with children over the age of 10.
