Story
Ernie is a sweet and handsome Catahoula mix…approximately 5 years old. He prefers a tight schedule/feeding time, with naps in his crate (door open). Ernie is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He loves people, but prefers to hang out with men, and be their best buddy! Ernie is a sweet boy, and beautiful, as well! He is food motivated, so training works very well, with treats! Ernie would thrive best as the only dog in the home, though seems to do ok with cats. ****Ernie is currently in foster care in Dallas/Fort Worth, so transport would need to be arranged.*** If interested in Ernie, please fill out our adoption application: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org

Story
Hi, I`m T-bone! I came from another shelter where I wasn`t getting much adoption interest. I came into their care after being found extremely emaciated but I`m fully recovered now. Not much is known about my history but I am senstive to people grabbing at my neck so I need people to go slow with me and respect my boundaries. I would prefer a female dog companion but I am also a large dog and content being your one and only. Cats make me uncomfortable so I would rather not live with them.

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: 363 is sweet, snuggly and loves a good belly rub. She is being fostered with her brother and they sleep through the night in the playpen with crate/bed with puppy pads. If you don’t have a playpen, an overnight potty break should be expected. We are working hard on potty training and have made big progress in just 24 hours. She’ll have it mastered in no time! From the foster: 364 is playful and adventurous but he’ll always take a timeout for a snuggle and a belly rub. Story
Meet Paxon! Your 5-year-old, snuggle-loving, adventure-seeking Catahoula Leopard Mix, ready to find his next great home! Pax has grown into a happy, healthy pup with a huge heart and a whole lot of personality. He’s fully house-trained, up to date on all vaccinations, and has no medical issues. Pax is a high-energy dog who thrives with daily walks—ideally more than one! He’s very smart and curious, but also a bit stubborn. He knows how to sit and is eager to please, though he can get a little distracted when he’s excited. Pax eats three meals a day (1 cup each), loves treats, and always very curious what’s being made in the kitchen. He enjoys time outside and needs space to run and explore. A fenced yard where he can stretch his legs would definitely be required. He loves toys—especially ChuckIt! Balls but tends to destroy anything made of fabric. Lots more info to share in addition to several items included, please reach out if you are interested in a meet!
