Bleu is a 7-month-old Catahoula mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. He gets along with everyone—children, adults, and other dogs—and is especially gentle with small kids. He’s the kind of pup who fits right into a family like he’s always belonged there.   Bleu is potty trained, crate trained, and very polite. He comes when called, listens well, and thrives on praise—especially during nail trims! He loves cuddling up beside his person and even sleeps out of the crate at night, happily curled up close.   Like any puppy, Bleu is still learning and will need to be crated when unattended for a little while longer—he’s in that curious chewing phase. But with toys, ice cubes to crunch, and plenty of love, he’s one happy boy. He enjoys playing outside and having doggy friends, though people are definitely his favorite.   Bleu wiggles his whole body when he’s excited to see you and has so much love to give. He truly deserves nothing less than the very best family to call his own. A fenced in yard and another active dog in the home is required.  Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care.
