Story
We rescued these four blue heeler/catahoula puppies from a farmer who was going to shoot them in order to get rid of them. They were in horrible shape- filled with worms and full of fleas. They were being fed scrap bones and were so sick. We have spent the last two months getting them healthy. They have received all vaccines, been dewormed numerous times until the worms were gone, and we got them spayed and neutered. Black female puppy ROSA White Female Puppy (one blue eye) LUNA White and Brown Male Puppy BENNY The puppies are about 16-18 weeks old. They have been trained to sleep in the crates. We have walked them on leashes. They have been around other dogs (big dogs like a husky and a pit) and children as well. Luna has the personality of wanting to be an alpha female. Rosa is very sweet and follows you everywhere. Benny was the most timid but has flourished. We are open to rescues helping rehome them as well.

Story
Koda is a 6-year-old, 48-lb Catahoula mix with a sweet soul and an energetic spirit. He’s a fun-loving guy who lives for playtime, especially tug-of-war with his favorite humans and a good game of fetch. He also enjoys racing around the yard with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to keep him company (he’s more of a chase-and-run kind of player than a wrestler so far). Koda is affectionate and bonds closely with his people, which means he doesn’t love being left alone for long periods. He’ll thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not, and ideally with another dog to help keep him feeling secure. He can be a little anxious at first, but once he settles in and feels safe, his loving personality really shines. This agile, athletic boy enjoys going on walks, is very food-motivated (treats are the way to his heart!), and already knows sit and listens pretty well. With his intelligence and eagerness, he’d do great continuing to build on his training. Important note: Koda requires a securely fenced yard taller than 4 feet -- he needs a safe space to run, play, and burn off his energy. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and sweet companion who will keep you active and love you wholeheartedly, Koda might just be your perfect match. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $250, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, and heartworm testing.

Story
Milo is a chill and playful boy. He loves car rides, going for walks, and looking out the window. He’s not a demanding dog, but really enjoys ear scratches and belly rubs. He’s a fast learner and alert, and is easy to redirect. He’s alone for the majority of the day and I let him roam free. I live alone and truly believe he would thrive in a home with more people around to see and interact with.

Story
Foghorn (Augie at his foster) is a true Southern gentleman&#44 polite and charming. His signature move is to lean against your leg and flash you his baby blues&#44 mesmerizing you into petting him as though its your lifes purpose. This cool drink of sweet tea is a friend to every person he meets and a phenomenal walking partner&#44 graciously adjusting his leggy stride to your pace.

A hound to the core&#44 he loves outdoor adventures full of sniffs&#44 a fine game of retrieve&#44 tracking varmints&#44 and - when he is truly in his feelings - singing the song of his people. His best home will not have shared walls or kitties and will have either a yard or plenty of wooded walks where he can freely express his true self.

You know how introverts will gather in a room but be perfectly content each doing their own thing&#44 together-but-apart? That is Foghorns dream life! He has exceptional dog manners but isnt looking for playmates. Hanging out on the porch greeting the neighbors? Hes down for that. Babysitting the young uns? Not this Papaw.

Housetrained&#44 crate trained&#44 and happy in the car&#44 what more are you looking for?

Story
Meet Lovely Maggie – The Stunning Blue Leopard Catahoula Mix! Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear fur and chase squirrels. BIG COUCH POTATO Maggie is a sweetheart couch potato, bed hopper, breathtaking 4-year-old blue leopard Catahoula mix with one solid blue eye and a striking blue chip in the other. This smart, affectionate, and loyal girl is the perfect companion for someone who loves the unique personality of the Catahoula breed. Maggie’s Journey Maggie’s history is mostly unknown. She was rescued from animal control in North Georgia and given a second chance at life. Why You’ll Love Maggie Loyal & Affectionate: Maggie thrives on being close to her human. She loves snuggling, lounging on the couch, or napping nearby, making her the perfect cuddle buddy. Low-Key Couch Potato with a Fun Side: While Maggie is mostly laid-back, she also enjoys walks, hikes, and car rides—anything that allows her to spend quality time with her person. Meal Time Enthusiast: Maggie’s favorite part of the day is mealtime! Her excitement is unmatched, and she’ll eagerly await her food with adorable enthusiasm. Crate-Trained & Well-Behaved: Maggie is perfectly crate-trained and will happily run into her crate for a treat. Maggie’s Ideal Home Dog Dynamics: Maggie gets along wonderfully with male dogs but has had conflicts with dominant females. She might do well with a submissive female, but she would thrive as the only dog in the household, where she can soak up all the love and attention. No Cats: Due to her high prey drive, a cat-free home is essential. A Loving Human: Maggie craves attention and affection, making her ideal for someone who enjoys having a constant, loving companion. Health & Quick Facts Age: 4 years old Weight: 55 pounds (a perfect medium size) Health: Spayed Microchipped Heartworm-negative Up-to-date on all vaccinations Temperament: Sweet, affectionate, and eager to please How to Adopt Maggie If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, and loving companion, Maggie is the dog for you!
