Roux is a male Catahoula Leopard mix. True to his breed, he is very energetic and loves to interact with his people. Remember, a tired dog is a good dog. He would love an active family to keep up with or another active/playful dog in the home. We are working on crate training. So far, I have to lift him into the crate. He barks at first but he settle down quickly with a toy or bone to entertain himself. Reinforcing potty training with routine potty breaks. He is still mouthy, so working to redirect him to appropriate chewing (i.e., dog toys and bones and not my hands). Older kids would be best for him as he likes to jump on you in his excitement. She would love an active family to keep up with or another active/playful dog in the home. She would do best with another dog in the home who is the same size or bigger as a playmate. Crate training is going well. I have to guide her in but once inside, she settles quickly. Good news - She keeps her crate clean and she seems potty trained with routine potty breaks.
