Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi everyone! My name is Murphy! I am a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix! My foster mom says I am a handsome little dude, what do you think? I am a very sweet boy with a big heart, and I love snuggling, it is one of my favorite things to do with my foster mom or anyone who enjoys a good snuggle, is that you? I live with lots of other dogs, including my three siblings and we all get along great. I love toys, any kind of toy but I really like stuffies, bones, ropes… if I can chew it, I’m a happy pup. I also like to play tug of war with my siblings, sometimes I even let them win.  I get super excited to meet new people as I have been invited to some special events and everyone loved me and believe me; I loved all the attention. I’ve been around adults and kids, and I think they are so much fun to play with. I’m working hard on my potty training and doing great when I go out on a schedule. I am crate trained — I eat my meals in there and I am ok hanging out in there when my humans are away, I also sleep in my crate without a peep, that is not to say I wouldn't mind sleeping on a comfy bed where we can keep each other warm on these cold winter nights.  I love to go on adventures outside, but I don't like to stay out to long as I am just a baby and I get cold with the frigid temperatures lately, maybe if I had a coat, it wouldn't be so bad. I am starting to learn what a leash is, with your help with training I will be ready for lots of adventures and family walks! If you think I might be the perfect addition to your home, I’d love to meet you and show you all the love I have to share! Apply to adopt me @buffalocares.org! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Marley! I’m a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and even though I started out as the runt of my litter, I’ve grown into a chunky, confident little guy! My foster mom has taken me to lots of events, and I’ve met so many people. Everyone wants to hold me — and honestly, I love every second of the attention. She says I’m a very handsome boy… what do you think? I can be a tiny bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, my real personality comes out. I’m sweet, affectionate, and happiest when I’m close to my people. I love chewing on bones, and squeaky toys are my absolute favorite. Treats? Oh, those are amazing — I’m very treat&#226&#128&#145motivated! Playing with other dogs, especially my siblings, is so much fun. Sure, we get into little squabbles sometimes, but that’s just what siblings do. I’ve been great with the kids I’ve met, too — just remember I’m still a puppy, so I’m working on that occasional nibbling. I’m doing well with potty training and will master it quickly with a good schedule. I’m not the biggest fan of that cold white stuff outside, though… so I might need a cozy sweater for winter outings. I’m crate trained and sleep through the night without a peep — although I wouldn’t mind sharing a warm bed with you either. I’m learning how to walk on a leash and will need a bit more practice, but I love car rides and going on adventures. So… what do you think? Could I be your new best friend? Because I’m officially accepting applications. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Roxy! I a 3-month old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. I am just a tiny little girl right now at only 12 pounds, I definitely have some growing up to do. My foster mom tells me I am the sweetest little girl and that I am so beautiful with my gorgeous eyes, what do you think? I love to play with my toys and my siblings but I also like to take a good nap after-all a baby needs to get her rest so she can grow. My favorite place to nap is right in my foster mom’s lap. I also like to rest my little face in the nap of her neck, I guess you might say I am a bit of a cuddle bug. I am crate trained and sleep there all night without a peep. I am working on my potty training, but it has been a slow go as I am not sure about that white stuff falling from the sky and I think I may need a little sweater as it is cold outside, but I know I will have it down in no time, especially if treats are in the picture. My foster mom says she loves me to pieces but it is time for me to find a family of my very own that will fall in love with me just like she has. Would you be interested in loving me, if so apply for me today @ BuffaloCares.org. Story
Diggs is a 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur with a beautiful multi-colored face and a deeply affectionate nature. While initially shy and scared in new environments, Diggs warms up with time and consistency and forms strong bonds with his people. He has been actively working through separation anxiety and has made excellent progress, showing improved confidence, emotional regulation, and independence. With guidance from his veterinarian, Diggs has also had great success with medication that has significantly helped manage his anxiety, allowing him to better relax and learn. Diggs responds well to routine, structure, and positive reinforcement and will continue to thrive with adopters willing to maintain that consistency.   Diggs is a very athletic dog and will require a tall, secure fenced yard to safely burn off energy and explore his surroundings. He enjoys enrichment, daily walks, and being mentally engaged. Though he currently coexists with another dog, Diggs would do best as the only dog, allowing him to focus on his relationship with his adult humans. He is potty-trained, food-motivated, and eager to participate in daily routines. Diggs is best suited for a calm household where he can receive companionship, guidance, and plenty of affection. With the right home, Diggs will make a devoted, loving, and rewarding lifelong companion. Apply to give this sweet boy a loving home at www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt  ##1307522##
