Story
We love our shy girls. ❤️ Because once they choose you… they love the deepest. This sweet girl may need a little time to warm up, but when she does? She is pure magic. If you’re sitting down, she’s your girl. She’ll climb up on the couch, gently lay her head in your hand, and remind you that the quiet ones often have the biggest hearts. She loves going outside and getting the zoomies — and when we say zoomies, we mean running through the yard like her butt is on fire while all the other dogs chase behind her like a tiny chaos parade. 😂 Once everyone is done, they’re all panting, happy, and ready for the best nap ever. She absolutely loves other dogs, especially the little ones. She is smart, sweet, and so easy to live with. Tell her it’s bedtime, and she’s right there. Ask if she wants to go outside, and she cannot get there fast enough. She is not destructive. She does not dig. She does not bite. Honestly, you barely know she’s there… until you turn around and realize she’s been quietly following you everywhere. She may run at first if you look at her or walk toward her, but that’s just her shy heart learning that people can be safe. She doesn’t need pressure. She just needs patience, kindness, and a family willing to give her the time she deserves. She is the perfect dog for someone who understands that trust is earned — and once you earn hers, you’ll have her whole heart. ❤️

Story
Meet Pillow! She’s a sweet, lovey dog who is ready for her cuddle buddies. She had a litter, the puppies are now gone and she’s looking for a home of her own. She’s great with dogs and kids. She’s crate and house trained. Pillow is about 50lbs and 3-4 years old. Shes got plenty of energy to hike, be out and about on the go and be an active family member but then she’s able to chill out and relax as well. She’s a wonderful mix of both worlds. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   March 7, 2026, 9:24 am

She came to Speak! from a wonderful foster down south alongside her brother, both getting a strong start—but finding the right adopter has been a bit more challenging. Florence is incredibly smart, sweet, and always ready for her next adventure. Whether she’s exploring the outdoors, learning new routines, or simply soaking up time with her people, she brings a sense of joy and curiosity to everything she does. She especially loves playing in the water and does great with bath time, making her a fun and easy companion in more ways than one. She already knows how to sit for treats and responds to a hand signal for “come,” showing just how capable and eager she is to learn. Florence often follows other dogs, looking to them for guidance and companionship, and she truly enjoys having canine friends around her. She does well with other dogs and would do best in a home with older or dog-savvy kids to help set everyone up for success. Florence will thrive with someone patient and committed who understands just how special she is and is willing to continue helping her build confidence and communication. In return, she’ll offer unwavering loyalty, affection, and a one-of-a-kind bond. Could you be the one she’s been waiting for? ***PLEASE READ*** WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER OR EMAIL INQUIRIES. Meet Patty Melt! Patty Melt is about 7 years old and a 50 pound female Catahoula mix. She is blind but learns to navigate her surroundings very well. Patty Melt loves her people. She can be slow to warm up to strangers and needs a good sniff first, but once you’re approved she’s all love and belly rubs. She is content to hang out all day and sleep, snore, and play with toys. She happily sleeps in her crate, and does not cause any trouble left alone in the house out of the crate. Patty Melt is currently being fostered in Columbus, Ohio. She would do best in a home without young children or fur siblings. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. Your brilliant, big-hearted adventure buddy. If you’re looking for a smart, playful, loyal companion who can keep up with your energy and your couch cuddles… Aquarius may be your girl. Aquarius is a 5-year-old Catahoula Leopard mix weighing 85 pounds of love and personality. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and already knows an impressive list of commands. This girl is incredibly intelligent and thrives when she has something to learn or do. Training sessions? She’s in. Puzzle toys? Absolutely. A treat-filled Kong? Say no more. She loves to run, play, and stretch her legs, so a home with a tall, secure fenced yard is a must. After she’s had her fun, Aquarius is more than happy to curl up beside you for hours of well-earned snuggles and belly rubs. Aquarius grew up as the only dog in her home with three young human siblings, so she’s used to being the center of attention. Because of that, she can be a little protective of her toys and would likely do best as the only dog in the home. She loves people deeply and bonds closely with her family. Her foster mom shares that Aquarius experiences some anxiety in new situations, and she takes a daily medication that helps her feel her best. She’s looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will continue building her confidence and celebrating her progress. With consistency and love, she truly shines. And here’s a bonus: Aquarius knows exactly when it’s mealtime. She’ll even bring you her bowl as a gentle reminder. Your very own furry personal assistant! Aquarius isn’t just looking for a home.. she’s looking for her person. Someone who will appreciate her intelligence, her playful spirit, and her big, devoted heart. Could that be you? She is being fostered in Grove City, Ohio. She is spayed, UTD on all vaccines and prevention.
