MEET BUCK!STATS: 4 years old, neutered, Catahoula Mix, 56 lbsAFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: When it comes to love, I am SUCH a sweet goober! I really lean into affection from my people and soak up all the attention. I love to run around and play with the other dogs and when I am REALLY having fun, I will occasionally let out a joyful “WOOF!”WHAT I LOVE: I love my stuffy toys! I also really love going on walks and spending time with my people. Rolling in the grass is one of my favorite ways to stay cool on these hot summer days. I also like sunbathing, especially when it is in the company of my friends, both dog and human alike!KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks I would be good with kids that are kind and respectful towards me!OTHER DOGS: I`m dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day! I am also an official York County Dog Test Dog!CATS: I am not a fan of cats here at the shelter.HIS MATCH: I am such a fun-loving guy and I am just searching for my forever partner/family to live my best life with! I would do wonderfully with another dog or as an only dog – as long as I get some playtime in, I am happy! While I do love to play, I am also a really down to earth guy – if cuddling on the couch is what you want to do for the day, I will be right next to you!SPECIAL NOTE: Just look at my stunning eyes!Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey. Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in.Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
