Story
Addison is an outgoing, energetic, 6 month old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Basenji mix puppy who loves to play! This girl has boundless energy and brings non-stop entertainment anywhere she goes. Being a persistent little pup, Addison manages to get even the most stubborn dogs to play with her! Addison was found on the streets of Houston with her sister, Chai, and older brother from a different litter, Ryder (who has been adopted!). While Ryder has been the main protector of the group in lieu of their mom who was never located, Addie comes in close behind as his backup! She is not afraid to stand up for herself or her dog friends if she needs to! Addie is a brave and independent girl and doesn't get phased by much! She loves the outdoors and is always ready for the next adventure. She's a very hardy puppy who hasn't let her rough past life define her; rather, she has turned it into her greatest strength! Addison likes to play hard during the day and cuddle even harder at night. As much as she loves other dogs, her loyalty to her humans comes second to none! She enjoys getting all the attention she can get and loves to snuggle up to her people. Addison is good with other dogs, cats, and people of all kind and would do well in most environments/households. She would thrive best in a home with at least one other canine companion to adventure with, but this is not required for her to be happy. She is about 30lbs currently and is expected to get no bigger than 40lbs. Addison is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Aren't I gorgeous? I am not a good match for active small children - they make me nervous.Kane's my name - fun's my game. I am a sweet boy, a bit shy at first. I am cautious meeting new people, but once I warm up, I am your best friend.  I am crate trained, although I have never had to spend more than 4 hours in a crate during the day. I know sit and walk great on a leash. My mom is a super hugger, and I know if I sit when she opens my crate, I get an extra big hug and love from her. I love to cuddle.  I am famous for my attack hug.  Just when you least expect it! I need the companionship of another dog to bring out my best adorable personality. I am very smart and will learn quickly. I thrive on positive reinforcement and affection.  I love to play with my foster siblings. My favorite game is chasing the water hose. I am up to date with vaccinations, neutered and microchipped so you can't loose me. I am a bit timid with strangers and will take a little time to adjust to my new home, but I promise to be the best dog ever once I know I can trust you.    Small children scare me, so I would like to have older, considerate children in the home. I am looking for a forever family. Story
Scooby ran up to my dog and I while we were walking one night in our community park. She had a collar (no tags) and leash. She began playing with my year old Dalmation. They got along superbly, chasing, rough housing and playing tug of war. I found through her microchip she had been found as a stray by Animal Control when she was 6 months old. Several weeks later in July 2023 she was adopted from a shelter. But over course of next 4 months, the shelter told me adopter tried to return Scooby. The shelter does not accept dogs adopted out from their shelter. Scooby found us in western Harris County which in talking to shelter we agreed she was abandoned. Scooby is 40# and a smart dog who will follow commands. She has been to basic training. She is full of energy and always wanting to chase. Barks aggressively at other dogs. Walks can be challenging as she will pull on her leash to chase cats and squirrels. Finally, She wants to be a one owner dog.

These pups are in Conroe, Texas too!
