Story

Three months ago we found Blue wandering closer to Beltway 8 while my partner and I were driving around. After he followed the car for over a mile we decided to see if he was friendly. Sure enough he was as kind as they come, just wanting love and attention we took him in. Since then we have come onto harder times and want to give him the best life possible. He is a big dog at over 70lbs and the vet believes he is still under a year old. He will need lots of space and he is a very social dog loving to play with others. If you have the opportunity to take in this amazing boy I truly hope you consider it.

We found Hoagie wandering around when he was a puppy. He was covered in fleas, had a swollen leg, and had a small collar on that needed to be cut off. After unsuccessfully finding his home we decided to keep him. We’ve had Hoagie for about 3 years but our senior rescue has decided he no longer likes him and tries to attack him. We now have to keep them separated. Hoagie is extremely smart and easily trained. He’s the most obedient dog we’ve ever had. He loves to play with our other dog and needs a yard to run around. He absolutely loves playing outside. He is also a huge snuggle bug. We have a 6 month old baby that he does great with but we have not brought him around older children. He is not up to date on his shots but we plan on getting him up to date soon. He is not fixed. We will include a bag of his food and an XL kennel. It breaks our hearts to have to find Hoagie a new home, but we’re hoping to find the perfect family for him.
