Story
Eli came to my home 16 months ago as a foster through a friend. We both did not want to see him be put through the experience of being taken to the Humane Society so I agreed to take him until a home could be found. I am Retired and spend many months of the year out of the country. Having Eli has been fun but my lifestyle does not suit the consistent home Eli needs & he deserves of a great home and family. I'm hoping to finally find the Hooman(s) for this boy! So here is a little about Eli. He is a goof ball who loves to play. He is very loyal and loves hanging out with you. He is very smart, he sits, lays, comes and shakes on command. He loves to camp. He is extremely intelligent, quick learner, social butterfly, loves other dogs but should be the only male dog in the house, he is good with cats, and loves kids. When you come home, he will greet you with a smile and is very glad you are back with him. He sits patiently while you prepare his meal and only eats when he gets the okay.

Story
Nico is a very handsome boy with beautiful eyes. He needs to be on a strict routine. He shouldn't be in a home with young kids. He would have to be the only pet. He is strong and stubborn. He needs someone who will be consistent with him. He isn't friendly to other animals. He is very loyal and protective to his person. He needs a home with a yard. He needs a home where it is strict and the person(s) are patient. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Inquire about setting up a meet and greet.       ##1501785##

Story
Comet is wonderful. Looking to rehome him because my wife and I are unable to give him the attention / exercise he deserves. We have tried for 18 months after our twins were born and we can't make it work. Based on Seattle. Comet is 4 (Jan. 2024). He is a healthy, young, vibrant dog - Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. He is crate/house-trained, goofy, silly, smart, and stubborn. He has gone to a 3-week board and train program and knows place, down, heel, and sit. He responds really well to an e-collar and a prong collar for walking. He is not food possessive. He is good with our kids (2 babies and toddler), as long as they don't pull fur / corner him He will only give a small bark warning and then remove himself from the situation. He has not lived with cats before. He lives with our senior dog and they play regularly. He deserves daily exercise - one 30-60 minute walk or a short run (30 minutes) is great. He loves hiking. He doesn't like swimming in our experience.

Story
Hi, I’m Chica,Hey, I caught you looking at my profile, that makes me happy. I am ready for my new forever home. I live with several dogs and cats now. I get along with all of them, but it is time for me to be with my own family. I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I am working on it, but some things are just so tempting. I love to be active, so if you are into hiking, jogging, or playing fetch we would get along great. My foster mom says I am the sweetest dog, but she might be biased. I do like to have fun and play with the other dogs, and I am good when I meet new people too. I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family. I will need some training so I can be the best dog ever, so if you have a little patience it would be great. My ideal family will be active. I imagine us going for long walks and exploring new trails and sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Wow, I can’t wait. If that sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Chica To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo.
