Story
Beautiful boy Beau is approx 6 months old and currently weighs 38lbs. He should be about 60lb lbs when full grown. He is a very active , social puppy so lots of jogging and hiking will be a must. He’ll have a great time meeting lots of people, too. He absolutely loves to run and wrestle with other dogs so a like- size dog in the home would be ideal. He needs training and lots of structure but he’s very intelligent and learns quickly whatever it is you’re trying to teach him. Although he’s a high energy boy, he has a very silly, sweet temperament so he could be a great family dog with kids over 10yrs old. An active, experienced home is required. He must also have a 5ft or higher securely fenced yard.

Story
This wonderful boy's name is NICO, he is a Catahoula Leopard.  One of the most common breeds of dogs in the south and were originally used to drive Hogs and Cattle.  These dogs are very loyal and NICO would make a great family pet to add to yours.     He has the most distinguished glass eye (right) and makes him stand out from any other animal.  Nico can look intimidating but in fact is a very sweet boy.  Nico was saved from euthinazia and is in fact a wonderful dog.  He enjoys walking on a leash and playing around with people.  Nico has beautiful puddled orange spots mixed with sandy white colors.  Nico is fully vaccinated and neutered as well as microchipped.  Nico can be transported to anywhere in the United States and Canada.     Please inquire about Nico or fill out his online application and consider making him an addition to your family.   ##1501785##

Story
++ REQUIRES ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME ++   NAME: Jane Challis (the last of our "Doom Patrol" group)   AGE/GENDER: DOB 3.21.19; female   TEMPERAMENT: Shy, sweet, silly, playful   WEIGHT: 35 pounds   HOUSE TRAINING: She is housetrained with a consistent schedule. CRATE TRAINING: Good. She eats and sleeps in her crate.   OTHER DOGS: Jane would benefit from having another dog in the home to help build her confidence and be her playmate. Jane loves to be around other dogs. She loves to play with other dogs. She's extremely dog friendly.   CATS: Jane would likely be best in a home without cats. She does have a prey drive.   CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older   ADOPTION DONATION: $550   HEALTH: Jane is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines.   Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care.    HISTORY: Jane came to us from a rescue in Hawaii. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do!   NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Jane is a sweet girl who is quite shy. She loves being out in the yard and playing with the dogs in her foster home. Once inside, she feels most comfortable lying next to another dog. When we first got her, she hid in the crate and didn't really want a lot of human attention. But now shewill lie next to you and on the bed. She will need a home with another dog so she can keep building her confidence.   She is leash trained and has basic obedience training. This training has opened up her up to including more people in her life. Where she was once running away from people, too shy to be touched, she's come to love training and being with a multitude of people who give her treats. She's extremely food motivated. And she's very sweet and loves to be pet.    She's a funny little girl. She loves to zoom around the yard. Her favorite thing is to be chased by her dog friends who have yet to catch her. She is fast! She will instigate play with the other dogs. And she loves to run! She has a very athletic build. Even though she's small, she's quite muscular and would make someone an excellent running partner.   All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup!   ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual  nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew December 2, 2023, 12:58 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Chica,Hey, I caught you looking at my profile, that makes me happy. I am ready for my new forever home. I live with several dogs and cats now. I get along with all of them, but it is time for me to be with my own family. I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I am working on it, but some things are just so tempting. I love to be active, so if you are into hiking, jogging, or playing fetch we would get along great. My foster mom says I am the sweetest dog, but she might be biased. I do like to have fun and play with the other dogs, and I am good when I meet new people too. I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family. I will need some training so I can be the best dog ever, so if you have a little patience it would be great. My ideal family will be active. I imagine us going for long walks and exploring new trails and sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Wow, I can’t wait. If that sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Chica To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo.
