Story
Meet Frankie, a remarkable 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a heart full of resilience and a zest for life. Despite spending most of his early days on the streets, Frankie’s remarkable ability to befriend fellow strays speaks to his social and compassionate nature. Since finding his way to our rescue, Frankie has effortlessly connected with every dog-friendly companion he’s encountered, always eager for playtime and new friendships. Frankie’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. A traumatic incident left him with a unique but endearing trait—a collapsed muscle in his head that doesn’t take away from his undeniable handsomeness. He’s a testament to the strength of his spirit, showing unwavering love for people despite the hardships he’s endured. Frankie’s distinctive appearance is only matched by his boundless energy and loyalty. His enthusiasm for life knows no bounds, and he thrives on staying active. While he’s not a fan of cats, his heart swells with affection for children, making him an ideal companion for families. Walking alongside Frankie is a pleasure, as he’s mastered leash manners to perfection. Weighing in at 80 lbs and boasting an athletic build, Frankie is ready to find his forever family. His differences make him extraordinary, his resilience is inspiring, and his love is unconditional. If you’re seeking a faithful and energetic companion to embark on adventures with, Frankie is the perfect match. Give this incredible dog the loving home he truly deserves. 💕 Frankie is in Texas, but his $395 adoption fee includes transport to you.

Hi, my name is Bobo and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Mar 14, 2023. There’s no better place than cuddled up close to my human on the comfiest couch. I’m the kind of dog that enjoys an easy-going lifestyle. Movie marathons, binge-watching shows, designated nap times, and regular pets are some of my favorite activities to do with my people!

What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me:· I am a snuggle bug! I'm a dedicated lap dog.· I'm a go getter, ready for a new adventure and love to get up and go. Then take a nice nap.· Loud and big things might be scary at first, but I'm curious and still enjoy exploring and sniffing around.

Story
++ REQUIRES ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME ++   NAME: Jane Challis (part of our "Doom Patrol" group)   AGE/GENDER: 3 year old female   TEMPERAMENT: Shy, sweet   WEIGHT: 35 pounds   HOUSE TRAINING: TBD   CRATE TRAINING: TBD   OTHER DOGS: Jane would benefit from having another dog in the home to help build her confidence and be her playmate.   CATS: Jane would likely be best in a home without cats.   CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older   ADOPTION DONATION: $550   HEALTH: Jane is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines.   Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care.    HISTORY: Jane came to us from a rescue in Hawaii. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do!   NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Jane is a sweet girl who is quite shy. She loves being out in the yard and playing with the dog in her foster home. Once inside, she feels most comfortable in her crate. She will need a home with another dog so she can keep building her confidence.   All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup!   ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual  nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew September 24, 2023, 6:52 pm

Story
NAME: CLINT BARTON    **DEAF** AGE/GENDER: Baby (11/14/2022) Male BREED: CATAHOULA LEOPARD DOG TEMPERAMENT: Playful and mischievous ESTIMATED ADULT WEIGHT: Medium to Large   HOUSE TRAINING: Not yet! He is a baby so he'll need a consistent schedule with multiple opportunities daily to go outside while he works on it. Puppies should not be considered reliable in regard to housetraining until 6-12 months of age. They're a lot like toddlers, who require diapers! CRATE TRAINING: Good, he's young and trainable! OTHER DOGS: Good! He will need continued socialization, like all puppies! CATS: Good! Continued socialization will be important! CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00 HEALTH: CLINT is healthy! He is also deaf, and will require extra training and understanding. Prior to adoption, puppies will be altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Puppies are given vaccination boosters in our care; however, adoptive families will be responsible for the remaining vaccinations that puppies need. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.  HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: CLINT BARTON is a puppy so he's playful and has a lot of puppy energy! He is super cute and fun, but a lot of work. His forever family should be committed to lots of training - obedience, housetraining, and socialization. This will ensure that CLINT grows into a confident, well behaved adult! Puppies' personalities are dependent on their environment, and the structure and training they are given, in addition to socialization. Their personalities continue to grow and be shaped by their new adoptive families. Puppy daycare and socialization classes or puppy kindergarten are highly recommended for their personal development. He will more than reward you for all your hard work with lots of love, loyalty, and laughs.   All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs.   Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that is run by volunteers. Motley Zoo does not have a brick and mortar shelter location. Instead, all our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet!   For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org.   Thank you for considering adopting a dog in need!   Woof,   The Motley Zoo CrewSeptember 24, 2023, 6:52 pm
