Baby Boy is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Baby Boy is a possible Catahoula/Cur Mix and is around 6 months old (December 28th) and around 35 pounds. He, 3 other puppies, and a Mama dog were dumped on a bridge outside of Tishomingo. He loves other dogs of all sizes. Baby Boy is like every other puppy, energetic, funny, friendly, and loves belly rubs! He has been in foster and has learned leash and crate training. He is not housebroken, but we are sure he can learn quickly. Animal Profile: Clark is a 9 week old Catahoula/Terrier X puppy who joined us with his 3 siblings on 12/16/2024 via our TX partner Saving Shelter Strays. The puppies, along with mom, were living under an abandoned trailer and were picked up by our rescue partner, Saving Shelter Strays. They were in a foster home there while awaiting their freedom ride to the PNW to find their forever homes. Foster Update: Here is the sweet fellow you have been looking for to complete your family! Clark is about 9 weeks old and is doing so good at life. He is very food motivated and has been crate training. Currently he sleeps well in his crate and goes potty about once in the middle of the night. He goes right back to sleep after. During the day he does great with his potty schedule and has very few accidents for how young he is! Potty training is a work in progress but he is truly making great strides each day. He loves the resident dog (80 lbs) and they play well together. Clark goes on a couple walks a day and loves getting out and seeing new things. He has already eaten out in U-village making many fans and sleeping quietly under the table. He is obviously adorable and he loves to be with his people and follows them everywhere. He is truly a GEM! He will win your heart with his sweet face, puppy antics, and gentle little heart. Clark will be big boy (Mom is aprox 70 lbs). We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and a canine companion. Welcome Skipper to CCPAL Rescue. Skipper is a 90-pound Ridgeback/Dane mix is our best guess. He is a mush to the people he knows and his breed is very loyal. He was adopted out as a tiny puppy and a year and a half later he was found on the streets skinny and with hair loss. He is now back at the rescue and he is doing great. He is friendly to all of us and very happy to see his friends. He didn’t jump up but he does pull on leash. I don’t think he got to do much leash work. He has an adorable widow’s peak. He would be great for a family who has a traveling father or someone not home. You could feel safe that Skipper would keep the family safe. He looks intimidating and has a big bark but very very gentle and goofy to those he loves. He has a low coat and not a big shedding dog. We would like someone who has worked with an extra-large breed or a Ridgeback. He will do good with a strong owner that is willing to work with him to give him direction and training. He is one of our favorites and we think he may be related to JJ who is also available at CCPAL. Skipper has been checked over by the vet and is in good health. He has been given a Bravecto and is growing hair and putting on weight here at the rescue. He would be a great partner for a jogger and due to his large size could definitely keep up with even a faster stride. He can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Welcome Reba to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1-year-old Shepherd/Greyhound mix dog. She weighs about 65 pounds and is long and leggy. She is a great dog and would make a good running, jogging or walking companion. She has long legs so she could keep stride. She has tons of energy so she would be best with an athletic and active family. She could go with children. She is active so 8 or up would be best. Her best home would be with a fenced yard and time to finish off her training. She was probably gotten as a puppy and put in the backyard. She now is dog sized but has puppy skills. She is a wonderful dog and with some training will make a wonderful family pet. She was rescued from one of the local high kill shelters that are over flowing and asking for help. CCPAL stepped up for her. She is healthy, vaccinated and will be spayed before she leaves the Rescue.
