Meet Frankie, a remarkable 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a heart full of resilience and a zest for life. Despite spending most of his early days on the streets, Frankie’s remarkable ability to befriend fellow strays speaks to his social and compassionate nature. Since finding his way to our rescue, Frankie has effortlessly connected with every dog-friendly companion he’s encountered, always eager for playtime and new friendships. Frankie’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. A traumatic incident left him with a unique but endearing trait—a collapsed muscle in his head that doesn’t take away from his undeniable handsomeness. He’s a testament to the strength of his spirit, showing unwavering love for people despite the hardships he’s endured. Frankie’s distinctive appearance is only matched by his boundless energy and loyalty. His enthusiasm for life knows no bounds, and he thrives on staying active. While he’s not a fan of cats, his heart swells with affection for children, making him an ideal companion for families. Walking alongside Frankie is a pleasure, as he’s mastered leash manners to perfection. Weighing in at 80 lbs and boasting an athletic build, Frankie is ready to find his forever family. His differences make him extraordinary, his resilience is inspiring, and his love is unconditional. If you’re seeking a faithful and energetic companion to embark on adventures with, Frankie is the perfect match. Give this incredible dog the loving home he truly deserves. 💕 Frankie is in Texas, but his $395 adoption fee includes transport to you.

What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me:· I am a snuggle bug! I'm a dedicated lap dog.· I'm a go getter, ready for a new adventure and love to get up and go. Then take a nice nap.· Loud and big things might be scary at first, but I'm curious and still enjoy exploring and sniffing around.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Zoe! She is a beautiful, 1.5-year-old, 50 lb, Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who was surrendered by her owner as she could no longer keep her. She is a sweet girl who walks well on a leash, knows some basic commands, takes treats gently and is housetrained. She would love a home with an active family who will keep her physically exercised. She can be reactive with other dogs and needs to be the only dog in the home. She would love a home with a securely fenced yard in a suburban or rural neighborhood where she can run around and get her zoomies out or chill out and relax. Zoe’s throat was crushed in a crate door when she was a puppy and she needs to be walked using a harness, no collars or slip leads. Zoe is up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Our adoption application can be found at haydudeequine.org Cameo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Cameo, a beautiful name for a beautiful gal like me. I have the sweet natured attitude that will make me a great family addition. At 2 years old, I'm at a great age where as I'm still playful but way past that destructive puppy stage. That sure makes for a nice combo for my new family. Oh and another nice thing...I'm already house trained too!! I have an amazing tiger striped pattern in my coat and show stopping amber colored eyes which make for a stunning combo!! My hairytage is of the Catahoula Leopard, and the beautiful swirling pattern of my coat is a genetic characteristic. My personality is sweet, sweet, sweet and I am very human oriented. I love giving and getting kisses and spending time with my people. Also, for a medium sized dog of 55ish lbs, I am a great snuggler!! I will wrap myself around my Foster Mum and delight in the attention!! I will stay there snuggling for as long as she has time! I walk well on leash and know how to sit and stay. I have great focus and pay attention really well. I am a people pleaser and will try to do whatever it takes to make my you happy!! I get on well with most all other doggies and enjoy romping in the yard getting a good game of keep away or tag you're it going. I LOVE hoomans and haven't met a stranger yet, I'm pretty sure everyone is here just to give me lots of lovins!! :) I'm a great size to make you a pawsome action adventure type companion, whether it's going for neighborhood strolls, camping trips, hikes in the wilderness and then my beloved snuggles by the fireplace (on the couch is fine too). Story
Welcome Skipper to CCPAL Rescue. Skipper is a 90-pound Ridgeback/Dane mix is our best guess. He is a mush to the people he knows and his breed is very loyal. He was adopted out as a tiny puppy and a year and a half later he was found on the streets skinny and with hair loss. He is now back at the rescue and he is doing great. He is friendly to all of us and very happy to see his friends. He didn’t jump up but he does pull on leash. I don’t think he got to do much leash work. He has an adorable widow’s peak. He would be great for a family who has a traveling father or someone not home. You could feel safe that Skipper would keep the family safe. He looks intimidating and has a big bark but very very gentle and goofy to those he loves. He has a low coat and not a big shedding dog. We would like someone who has worked with an extra-large breed or a Ridgeback. He will do good with a strong owner that is willing to work with him to give him direction and training. He is one of our favorites and we think he may be related to JJ who is also available at CCPAL. Skipper has been checked over by the vet and is in good health. He has been given a Bravecto and is growing hair and putting on weight here at the rescue. He would be a great partner for a jogger and due to his large size could definitely keep up with even a faster stride. He can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!
