Story
Beautiful Raya is so sweet, affectionate, and sticks by your side wherever you go. She was meant to be an outdoor/livestock guardian dog but she would rather be indoors on the couch 😅 which she does 24/7 . Raya has zero guardian dog instinct in her but she is a love bug. On the more serious note she can’t be around any small animals at all she will hurt them or unfortunately kill them. In my opinion she would do good in any home style whether be townhouse/ or house. She is potty trained of course and knows how to go in and out of a door net with ease. She is good on walks/ doesn’t pull and won’t go out her way to attack anything or anybody. I really just want to give her a home where she will have that one on one attention she deserves and needs. Thanks for your consideration in this gentle giant.

Story
Hi, Im Ozzy! Im a sweet, thoughtful boy whos learning how wonderful the world can be. I can be a little shy at first, but once I start to feel safe, my gentle personality really shines through. Im the kind of dog who observes everything carefully, and when I gain confidence, youll see just how smart and affectionate I am. One of my favorite things in the world is going for walks and being outside. I love a nice, brisk pace and enjoy patrolling my surroundings like a true shepherd. Im off to a great start with leash skills and continue to improve every day. I stay focused on my walk and take everything in calmly, which makes our outings enjoyable and peaceful. While I enjoy treats, Im more motivated by routine, reassurance, and learning from other dogs, which really helps me blossom. Speaking of other dogs I absolutely love them. Being around canine friends brings out my playful, animated side and gives me a big boost of confidence. Ive made great progress simply by following the lead of other dogs and being part of a pack. Im also a fantastic car companion. I recently handled a long road trip like a pro quiet, calm, and happy to relax and nap after taking in the fresh air. Once Im settled, Im very easygoing and adaptable. At home, Im a quiet and well-mannered housemate. I dont bark much and enjoy having a cozy space to relax. Im continuing to learn the basics and build confidence with guidance and patience, and Im already showing how eager I am to grow. If youre looking for a gentle, intelligent dog who will thrive with another canine buddy and a loving, understanding family, I might be your guy. With the right environment and support, I know Ill continue to come out of my shell and become an incredibly loyal companion. I cannot wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got to give. Story
Sometimes it’s hard to understand how the world can fail animals the way it does. How does a stunning pair of 7-month-old, purebred German Shepherd sisters end up wandering as strays in a quiet rural Tennessee town? Yet that’s exactly how Luna’s story began.  Luna is the more shy and observant of the two sisters, but her joyful spirit shines through immediately. At 46 pounds, she already carries herself with a calm, sweetnes that tells you what a great companion she will make a family.   She walks beautifully on a leash, is crate trained, and rides like a pro in the car. Despite everything she’s been through, Bella remains happy, affectionate, and easy to connect with. She lives peacefully alongside cats and dogs of all sizes and blends into new environments with impressive ease. Luna is not hyper or unruly — she is thoughtful, observant, and ready to learn. With continued confidence-building and positive reinforcement, she will grow into an incredible adult German Shepherd, likely reaching 70–75 pounds.  Luna and her sister Bella were never claimed, and after waiting weeks with no one coming for them, they were released into the care of Critter Cavalry Rescue. We made them a promise — to find them experienced, loving, German Shepherd-savvy homes where they can thrive. A fenced yard is required, as well as adopters committed to gentle guidance, training, and building trust. Luna is a wonderful fresh young life  ready to be molded into a loyal, well-mannered companion.  She and Bella are ready to be home for Christmas — warm beds, loving people, and a future they deserve.       Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting our special. Luna   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 23, 2025, 12:34 am
