Story
Hi potential adopter! Meet Bronnie our playful lovable pup. Bronnie is just 8 months old and he's such a sweet boy. We love him so much but unfortunately can not bring him with us as we are moving states away. Bronnie is currently in the care of a pet boarding service in Washington DC. I am currently not able to go pick him up so if you would like to take him home he would need to be picked up. Bronnie is a very chill, quiet puppy until He starts playing and is very good with children as I have a 5 year old. He will be a great addition to your family and an awesome protector! So sad to have to let him go but I know it's the right thing to do. Blessings.

Story
We are so excited to show the world this exceptionally happy and handsome German Shepherd boy that everyone loves instantly upon meeting him.  There are just some dogs draw you in make you want to hug them and reassure them and spend more time around them.  This boy is named Maverick and he is 4 to 5 years old and weighs 65 pounds with a need to probably be a good 75 pounds or more. His past is actually unknown, except that he was astray that came into a shelter in Middle, Tennessee and Critter Cavalry Rescue soon learned about his incarceration.  You can see in the pictures that his eyes look a little runny, and they are because they have some problems that are being medicated now.  Soon they will clear up and soon there will be good healthy weight put on this boy and he will be ready for a new start that he most certainly deserves in life. Maverick is great with meeting new people and new dogs.  He seems to be housebroken and is able to be crated, but prefers not to if you'll allow that.   He is the typical Shepherd energy, where he moves about checking things out and with curiosity.  He is quite obedient and smart.  He was a dream dog while the vet poked and prodded in inspected teeth and ears and drew blood.  He was at ease at the vet's office when entering the lobby and being in a place with lots of dog smells.  Maverick is a strong boy, both in physical strength and interpersonal acceptance of what events come his way.   He has show great trust in new people as he was transferred. from multiple cars and meeting different people who were helping transport him to his foster home with Critter Cavalry.  He meets strangers with a friendly smile and a seemingly awareness that they just want to help him.  He readily jumps up into a new car when asked to do so, which proves he has no hip issues or movement problems whatsoever for such a big boy.  He is handsome now, but soon very soon, he will be stunning once his coat improves with good food and grooming.  This boy enjoys being brushed and will be fun to do as you watch the loving results of your effort produce even more good looks.  Maverick is easy to love and he will readily love you back.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you want to know more or to receive an application for adoption.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 27, 2025, 7:54 pm

Meet Scout – The Handsome Pup with a Heart Full of Joy!    Say hello to Scout, one of the most charming little German Shepherd pups you’ll ever meet! Born around March 1st, Scout is a playful, loving boy who’s ready to bring joy, loyalty, and laughter to his forever family. Can you believe how handsome and adorable this guy is? With his striking black and tan coat (just like his proud papa!), Scout is already turning heads—and his personality is just as irresistible. He’s playful, smart, and loves making new friends, especially the neighborhood kids! Fetch is one of his favorite games, and yes—he actually brings the ball back!   Scout is already showing how clever he is—he’s 80% potty trained, crate trained, and comfortable in an open X-pen setup. He’s also cat-friendly and enjoys both playing and napping alongside the house cats. This sweet boy is off to a fantastic start and just needs the right family to continue his journey. Scout is expected to grow into a big, beautiful 75-pound boy, thanks to his purebred GSD parents (a pair who weren’t supposed to become parents, but Scout is proof that happy surprises happen!). He’s got the best of both worlds—classic GSD loyalty and a fun-loving, puppy spirit.   Scout is ready for adoption now to a qualified family in Tennessee, or by the first of June for loving families in the Northeastern corridor. Critter Cavalry Rescue transports north every weekend, meeting approved adopters at seven convenient locations. If Scout has stolen your heart—and we know he will—please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. Be sure to include your city and state so we can help this perfect pup find his way home. Scout is ready to be your best friend, your shadow, and your heart dog. Will you be the one to give him the forever home he deserves?   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 29, 2025, 10:45 pm

&#226&#156&#168 Meet Koda – The Cutest Shepherd Sidekick You’ve Been Waiting For! &#226&#156&#168 Ready to add a little fluff, a lot of fun, and a forever best friend to your life? Say hello to Koda, an absolutely adorable German Shepherd puppy who’s got personality for days and ears that deserve their own fan club! Born in February to purebred GSD parents, this little lady is everything we love about shepherd girls—smart, confident, curious, and loyal to the core. She’s already showing signs of being someone’s lifelong shadow (in the cutest way possible) and picks up on training like a total pro. Got treats? She’s got tricks. Koda is snuggly, playful, and just the right amount of sassy. She loves kids, does great in the house, is learning the potty routine like a champ, and knows her way around a crate. Cats? She’s curious, but might be a bit too excited to be their playmate just yet! And let’s talk about those spectacular ears—they’re basically little radar dishes picking up every bit of love around her. Koda will be ready for her forever home in mid-May, and she's currently hanging out in Nashville, TN. Don’t worry—she can be transported to the Northeast for the right family! Interested in adopting Koda? Email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue  ccrnewengland@gmail.com Don’t wait—this sweet girl is going to make someone very happy. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 10, 2025, 9:37 pm

Meet Freya – Tiny Drama Queen, Full-Time Heart Thief   Looking for a puppy with star power? Meet Freya, a German Shepherd pup who was born to be adored (and she knows it). Born around March 1st, this girl has already perfected the art of dramatic sighs, theatrical whining, and melting hearts with a single look. If things aren’t going her way? Oh, she’ll let you know — in the most pathetic, adorable voice imaginable. Don't worry, it's just part of her current toddler-phase flair!   But don't let the diva act fool you — Freya is also a total goofball. She’s all about tug-of-war matches, playful wrestling with her doggie friends (big and small), and taking very serious naps, sometimes curled up next to a cat buddy like they’ve been besties forever.   Her foster mom, Terry, is gently introducing her to the finer points of being a well-mannered pup: crate time, x-pen life, and potty training (she’s about 80% there, which earns her a gold star in puppy school). She’s smart, eager to please, and just waiting for a forever family to continue her journey.   Freya is believed to be from purebred GSD parents — her dad is a handsome black-and-tan guy, and she’s already starting to follow in his pawsteps (her ears are trying to stand up — stay tuned, it’s a process). We expect her to grow into a 70-pound stunner, full of loyalty, energy, and love.   She’s happiest when she’s getting attention, being told how beautiful and special she is (at least 50 times a day), and being part of the action. If you’ve got love, snacks, and a secure fenced yard for zoomies, Freya might just be your perfect match.   Freya is adoptable now in Tennessee, and for folks in the Northeast, she’ll be ready to travel home at the end of May, thanks to Critter Cavalry Rescue’s transport team.   Want to make this little diva your leading lady? Email ccrtennessee@gmail.com and claim your new best friend!   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 29, 2025, 1:54 pm
