They are both petite, black-and-tan beauties — Milly weighing about 50 lbs with sleek short hair, and Koda around 65 lbs with fluffy long hair and the cutest curly cowlick on his back. They love water, balls, cuddles, and following their humans everywhere! 🌟 Milly — The Spunky, Smart, Affectionate Explorer Milly is a high-energy, goofy, incredibly loving girl. She has a big personality packed into her petite frame. Her best traits: Knows sit and lay down Very food-motivated Excellent recall, even off leash in the woods Kennel & house trained Wonderful with kids of all ages (1–12) Plays well with dogs and even cats Milly is a little huntress — she’ll proudly present you with field mice or snakes she finds outdoors. She hops like a fox, loves tug of war, digs big holes, and will drag around the biggest stick she can find. She’s also a champion toy shredder. At home, she’s your affectionate baby who sleeps on a blanket with a pillow and snores louder than a grown man. Determined, silly, sweet — that’s Milly. 🐾 Together Milly and Koda LOVE water and will enthusiastically “attack” any stream from the hose. During bath time they try to climb into your lap for comfort. They’re funny, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining — the kind of dogs that fill a home with laughter and love.     Meet Amber Leah – Loyal, Smart & Ready for Home Amber Leah is a 2–3-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and resilience. She’s 56 lbs, gaining strength every day, and showing her playful, loyal spirit. Amber is house-trained, crate-comfortable, and enjoys toys, bones, and staying close to her people. She already knows how to sit, stay, and shake, down, wait and she’s eager to keep learning. She loves quiet time on the couch just as much as playtime in the yard. She has Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (PEI), a common GSD condition that simply requires an enzyme with each meal—an easy routine that helps her thrive. Amber would do best as the only pet, though with slow introductions she can live with another dog. She’s still practicing leash manners and learning to relax around other dogs. Her ideal home is probably a calmer suburban setting with a privacy fence, but with the right person and structure she can thrive anywhere. He is extremely loyal, vocal in a charming way, and very attached to his people. His best traits: Kennel & house trained Excellent off-leash manners Stays close on walks LOVES women and bonds deeply Warms up slowly but becomes very playful Sleeps at your feet if you’re still for more than 5 minutes Enjoys long peaceful walks in nature Koda is cautious with men and other dogs at first — his previous foster’s larger dog attacked him — but once he trusts you, he is incredibly sweet and engaging. He’s protective, quirky, gentle, loves vegetables (and burps louder than he should!), and he just wants to be close to his person. His favorite thing is curling up and sleeping nearby, making sure you’re always safe. 🐾 Together Milly and Koda LOVE water and will enthusiastically “attack” any stream from the hose.
