Story
Meet Amber Leah – Loyal, Smart & Ready for Home Amber Leah is a 2–3-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and resilience. She’s 56 lbs, gaining strength every day, and showing her playful, loyal spirit. Amber is house-trained, crate-comfortable, and enjoys toys, bones, and staying close to her people. She already knows how to sit, stay, and shake, down, wait and she’s eager to keep learning. She loves quiet time on the couch just as much as playtime in the yard. She has Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (PEI), a common GSD condition that simply requires an enzyme with each meal—an easy routine that helps her thrive. Amber would do best as the only pet, though with slow introductions she can live with another dog. She’s still practicing leash manners and learning to relax around other dogs. Her ideal home is probably a calmer suburban setting with a privacy fence, but with the right person and structure she can thrive anywhere. Amber Leah is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. If you’ve ever loved a German Shepherd, you know how deep that bond can be—Amber is ready to share it with you. Apply to adopt Amber Leah today.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Meet Marley – A Loyal Heart Looking for a Confident Leader! Marley is a beautiful shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger desire to please the people she trusts. She’s house-trained, well-mannered in the home, and gets along with other dogs and older children. True to her breed, Marley is intelligent, observant, and eager to learn — she just needs the right person to help her shine. Marley can be a little unsure in new situations and is sensitive to loud noises, so she’ll do best in a calm, predictable environment with someone experienced with shepherds or confident handling large breeds. She thrives on structure, enrichment, and gentle leadership that helps her build trust and confidence. Marley loves her meals but can be a bit protective of her food, so a family that understands boundaries and positive training will help her feel secure. In return, she’ll reward you with loyalty, love, and the joy of watching her blossom into her best self. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will give her whole heart once she feels safe, Marley may just be the perfect match. Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  ##1525008##

Hey, Max here, the furry Zac Efron of chaos! 🐾 Dropped my bio three weeks ago and... *tumbleweeds* 😱 Did y’all miss my resume? Did y’all think my furry fan club was already packed with applicants? Nope, the VIP list is WIDE OPEN! I’m a 34-lb, treat-snatching, howl-singing velociraptor ready to steal your snacks and covers. Don’t sleep on this husky-mix superstar—Time get your application in and add some fur and spice to your life #AdoptThisVelociraptor Meet Max: Cruise Director of Chaos Ready for a hurricane of furry chaos? Say hello to Max, a husky-mix who started life being hawked out of a pickup truck in an Ingles parking lot like a furry bootleg DVD. At 17 weeks, he has transformed into a 30 lb handsome jumping velociraptor with one of the biggest husky personalities on the planet. Max’s Stats • 2ft 2” 34 lbs, brown eyes that rival Zac Efron and hair that has obviously been made silky smooth by the Zohan. • House Trained? Mostly. I’m this close to mastering it, but my excitement sometimes leads to surprise sprinkles. • Kitchen Manners? Nonexistent. I’m a counter-surfing champ, snatching crumbs and sandwiches like a four-legged food ninja. • Food Motivation? I’d sell my soul for a single shred of pepperoni. Treats are my love language. • Doggo BFFs? I LOVE other dogs. They’re my crew, my pack, my fur squad my howling Christmas choir. If you don’t have another dog, I’ll need you every nanosecond 24/7—consider me your new shadow. • Training? I walk like a pro on a leash, ride in the car like a furry celebrity (windows down for the ladies), and sit with dramatic flair. • Cat Friendly? 100%! I’m ready to share the spotlight with any feline, big or small. • Play Style? Picture a kangaroo crossed with a T-Rex on a pogo stick. Now, make it 25 times cuter. I leap, I bound, your neighbors will suspect trampolines. • Crates? Straight from Satan’s porch. Not my thing. • Sleep Habits? I’m a bed-hogging cuddle monster. Your pillows? Mine. Your blankets? Ours. I’m sleeping right next to you, all night long. • Water? Love it. I swim, dig and drink it every summer day - do you have a pool we can lounge in? • Vocal Skills? I’m a howler, a talker, a canine opera star with more opinions than the hosts of The View and I’m not afraid to share them—loudly. FYI: I’m not allowed in libraries. Should you Adopt Max? If you’re looking for a low-key couch potato, keep scrolling. But if you want a high-energy, food-obsessed, chatty sidekick who’ll follow you to the ends of the earth (or at least the kitchen),who loves dogs, cats, and you (especially you), I'm your guy. I’m a social butterfly who needs a human AND a dog buddy to keep the conversation going—because silence is boring, and I’m anything but. Adopt me, and prepare for a life of missing snacks. Apply now to join the Maximus fan club! (Stock up on treats, reinforce your fences, and get ready for the cuddliest chaos you’ve ever met.)

Story
Ranger is a young pup with soulful eyes and a heart full of potential. He’s had a rough start to life, but you’d never know it from the way his tail wags when he sees his favorite people. This resilient boy is looking for a patient, loving adopter who can help him continue the training journey he’s already started. Ranger is fantastic with kids and thrives in a home with structure and positive reinforcement. He’s a smart cookie who’s eager to please and already working hard on his manners. However, due to reactivity, Ranger needs to be the only pet in the home—no dogs, no cats, just humans to soak up all his love and loyalty. If you believe in second chances and have room in your heart and home for one very special pup, Ranger is ready to meet you.

Story
Nathaniel is an adorable, affectionate Shepherd mix who is 4 years old and weighs 57 lbs. He recently lost his foster home due to no fault of his own and is in immediate need of a foster or adopter to get him out of boarding. Nathaniel has been through training, knows basic commands, and walks well on a leash. He is a bit shy & timid from his extended time in boarding, but prior to losing his foster home he was a happy, playful, loyal dog who loved being with his people and doing zoomies through his house & yard. He has medium energy and is gentle when taking treats from your hand. He&#39s looking for a person who will help him build confidence so a home without other dogs or with submissive female dog(s) would be ideal. Nathaniel is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped. If you&#39re interested in fostering or adopting Nathaniel, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org, or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2 hours of the Roswell area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.March 4, 2025, 3:54 pm

Story
Meet Tommy, a handsome 2-year-old, tri-colored German Shepherd mix who was rescued at the very last minute from a crowded county shelter. Initially described as shy and timid, Tommy simply needs some self-confidence. Tommy is very smart and eager to please.. While he can be a little unsure at first, he is quickly learning that life can be full of love, kindness, and fun. Each day, he grows braver--wagging his tail more freely, discovering toys, and learning to be confident. He is dog-friendly and would thrive best in a home with another confident dog who can guide him and show him the ropes. Tommy is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps soundly through the night. Although the crate is not his favorite place, he settles quietly after a few minutes and is content once he feels safe. According to his trainers, Tommy is calm and confident on leash, non-reactive to people during walks, and loves interacting with other dogs. He is playful, learns from other dogs, and is steadily building confidence while mastering his manners. Although he tends to be a little timid and is not treat-motivated, he is making great progress. He would be happiest with a family that has a strong leader who will continue his training and build his confidence with patience and affection. A fenced yard would be wonderful for him to play and explore, but what he truly wants is a doggy sibling that can teach him to be the best dog he can be. Tommy is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is ready to find his forever family. With love and care, this shy boy will blossom into a devoted companion. For more information about this wonderful boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to foster Tommy go to www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area.
