History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own! A Note from the Foster: Angie is a great girl who is doing well settling into foster care! She is very friendly, LOVES other dogs, and seems to be unbothered/unphased by cats. She does good with children as well and all people. She is potty trained as long as she goes out routinely. She is good in the crate and sleeps soundly at night in there. She is a funny, friendly, and beautiful girl who hopes to find her forever home soon!

History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own! Napoleon has been diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and early onset arthritis. The ball part of his hip joints are sitting outside of their sockets. This is a congenital issue, meaning he was born with it, and it is already causing some early arthritic changes. He has muscle loss over his hips, stiffness, and some pain, particularly when extending his left hind leg. Potential long-term surgical options include total hip replacement or another procedure to remove the ball part of the joint (femoral head ostectomy). For now, the best approach is to focus on non-surgical management. While in rescue, he has been working with a specialist to build up the muscles around his hips to provide better support, which will help keep him comfortable and functional. This will also lead to a better outcome if he does need surgery in the future.

Story
Kratos was a birthday gift to me when he was a puppy. He is now about 6 years old. Im hoping to find a good home for him. He has a lot of energy and needs someone to work with him. I just moved to Wisconsin and had a baby. Hes always been good with her and all other with littles and people since I got him. He’s iffy with cats. But other dogs are fine. He is protective of the home but NEVER violent. You could probably bark back and he’d back down. He’s a bit of a wuss but he’s the most loyal sweet boy. I don’t have time to run him or just get out his energy like I used to. I hope to find someone to take care of him the way he deserves. He struggles with attachment to me here and there as well but he’s harmless
