Story
I live in an apartment so I wanted a dog that doesn't bark much and is trainable. Online it said that "Cavachons are friendly, affectionate, and playful dogs that have a moderate energy level, are adaptable to apartment living, and are relatively easy to train. Their coat is low-shedding and they don't like to be left alone for long periods." "They don’t tend to bark as much as other small dogs. Many people describe them as being quiet." Kirby is playful and affectionate, but she still nips sometimes when excited. Unlike what it said online, she has a pretty high energy level, she barks a lot when she wants your food or when you put her in her crate, and she has not proven to be very trainable because sometimes she pees every 20 minutes or so. My daughter was staying home with her all day but intends to go back to work. As much as we love Kirby, we know Kirby would not want to be home alone all day. She would do well with an experienced owner and companion dog to keep her company.

Story
Stella is an absolutely wonderful love bug, approximately 2 year old english terrier mix. She is a lap dog for sure and wants to be right up on you. She is housetrained and walks on a leash well, she now barks at the door when she needs to go outside. She is super loving and friendly, loves people, kids and other dogs. She has not been introduced to cats. I have been fostering her for 4 months. She was adopted from a shelter in manchester connecticut that receives dogs from all over the country in kill shelters. Stella was there for months, originally coming up from south carolina, unknown history. She initially had some kennel cough and skin rash which both fully resolved with treatment quickly. I kept her for a bit longer than intended because she seemed unfamiliar with house living and didn't understand stairs. Now she flys up and down stairs and is fully comfortable in home life. She would love an energetic owner or family but she's very calm and happy to lay around.
