Meet Milley Syd, a 6 year old, Shih Tzu/Bichon mix, who weighs a perfect 25 pounds of pure fluff and love. Milley is an affectionate lady who adores everyone - adults, children, and other dogs big and small. This sweet girl has spent most of her life with her companion Josephine Syd, and they're hoping to find their forever home either together or Milley can go solo. Forgot to mention this very important fact that she’s a champion cuddler: she loves nothing more than climbing into your lap for full body hugs, sitting up on her hind legs to get even closer. Outdoors, Milley enjoys walks (she's great on a leash!) and running around her foster’s yard. So, a fenced yard would be a plus, but it's not a must. Inside, she's happiest close to her people, preferring to snooze on a cozy pet bed (bonus points if it's right on your bed!) rather than being crated. She is just not a fan. Milley is also both house and pee pad trained. This lovely gal sits beautifully for treats and is always eager to please her favorite humans. She can be a bit vocal with sudden noises or people passing by her foster home, so no shared walls are recommended. Chance has a head tremor caused by a congenital cerebellar lesion, but it doesn’t slow him down at all. , This was confirmed by a neurology consultation. He’s a happy, affectionate little guy who enjoys life at a relaxed, low-to-moderate energy pace—happy to play a little, go on short walks, or just curl up for cuddles and quiet companionship. He is house-trained and crate-trained, gets along beautifully with dogs, kids, and cats, and greets everyone he meets with warmth and friendliness. Chance is looking for a loving forever home where he can share his gentle, loyal heart every single day. Chance is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until he has completed his treatments and is fully recovered, Chance is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area; He must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments.
