Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Bruno may be small, but he’s got a big personality—and a little spice to go with it! This clever, loyal pup is full of love once he feels safe with you. At first, he can be nervous around new people and situations, but with patience (and maybe a little cheese), his sweet and affectionate side shines through. Because Bruno can become nippy if startled or rushed, he’s looking for an experienced adopter who understands “spicy” dogs and is willing to respect his boundaries. A calm, low-traffic home without children will be the best fit for him. The good news? Bruno has plenty of great qualities to offer his perfect person! He’s housetrained, crate-trained, and enjoys the company of other dogs. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but he also does well on leash. To help set him up for success, Bruno’s adoption will include a couple of meet-and-greets and a home visit. He isn’t a dog for everyone—but for the right person, he’ll be a devoted and wonderful companion. Baby Bruno weighs 13lbs. and is approximately 4 years old (est. birth date 03/22/2021).
