Adoption Fee: $700 Espresso is a 1 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Dachshund mix who is brewing up cups of cuteness! Espresso was surrendered to our rescue with her friend Hazel after they were found abandoned in a park. A good citizen scooped them up and brought them to our rescue as she wasn’t able to add more dogs to her home. Well, a bath and tons of treats later, Espresso is living her best life and is looking forward to finding her forever people! This gal promises she will be the best coffee shop companion, and with her, you’ve got your little treat to go! Espresso is a small gal with a venti personality! She is sweet, cuddly, loving, and oh so adorable. Espresso loves to follow her people around the house for pats and playtime, showing off her energetic personality. Espresso loves to play, loves her walks, and has a small mountain of toys she is happy to flop onto. However, once she has had her fun, she becomes a happy couch potato, snoring cutely on her back. Her favorite toys? Anything that she can chew on! This gal is still very much in her puppy era! Espresso is so sweet and loves her people, always greeting them with a bright smile and a wagging tail, even if they have only stepped outside for a minute. She would love to shower her new people in love every day! Espresso starts her day at 8 AM with a walk and potty break. She gets breakfast in her pen at 8:30 and then heads back to bed for a dog nap. She spends her days exploring the house, playing with toys, rolling over for cuddles. and napping on the couch. She is taken out a few times a day for potty breaks and then gets a long evening walk where she gets her zoomies out. After dinner at 6:30, Espresso joins her foster mom on the couch for TV and snuggles. After one last bathroom trip, she heads to bed in her pen where she sleeps through the night. Espresso gets along with other dogs as long as they are introduced properly. She is more confident around dogs her size. Espresso walks well on a leash but loves veering off to check out birds and flowers! She is working on her potty training and behavior but is a quick and eager learner, motivated by treats! Espresso is an option for a variety of homes, including those with less experience. She could be an option for a first-time dog owning home, as long as they are prepared for continued training. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.March 25, 2024, 11:42 pm
